The main elements of modernization of the BelGrad-2:
• Installation of modern communication and data transfer equipment of Belarusian design.
• Larger cargo platform (MAZ-631708 chassis) provides installation of racks for 40/60 missiles.

• Use of the horizon and stabilization mechanism, which allows to adjust the machine position from the cabin.

The BM-21B BelGrad-2 was put in service with the Belarusian Armed Forces in September 2021. And in March 2023, the qualification tests of the vehicle were completed.

It wasn’t reported which unit of the Belarusian Armed Forces would be the first to receive the modernized Grad system. The BM-21 Grad MLRS are in service with at least 7 brigades of the Ground Forces and Special Operations Forces.

46th Brigade of Ukraine repulsed the biggest assault on the Brigades position. 46 units of Russian AFVs were used in the assault:

“On September 12, Russians attacked with four waves of assaults from 5:45 a.m. to noon on the positions of the battalions of 46th Brigade. A total of 46 units of armored and not so armored vehicles fell on us.

And the record was set! Such a number of destroyed and damaged enemy equipment in one day in the direction of responsibility of the 46th Brigade has never really happened. With effective fire from all available means of destruction 15 units (9 BMPs, 2 tanks, 2 APCs and 2 motorcycles) were destroyed and 11 BMPs were disabled."

I was finally able to attribute them to the 82nd and not the 80th Air Assault Bde based on researching some other pics in the @Liberov photo set (see tweet 7).

A modern Russian remote mine-laying system called "Zemledeliye" was destroyed as a result of a Ukrainian strike in the area of the Seym river in Kursk Oblast of Russia.

This is the fourth confirmed loss of this type of equipment since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
