China fears to supply new trains to Belarus because of the risk of coming under U.S. sanctions
@belzhd_live found out that China postponed the delivery of 15 new BKG2 electric locomotives to Belarus, which were to be delivered at the end of 2023. The new delivery dates have already been postponed to 2025-2026.
But the key thing is the reason for the postponement of deliveries. @belzhd_live received documents that indicate that the Chinese train manufacturer CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. fears facing the U.S. and EU sanctions in case of supplying these electric locomotives to Belarus.
The fact is that almost all the high-tech equipment of the Chinese BKG2 electric locomotive is imported. Examples:
• Traction transformers – ABB 🇸🇪🇨🇭
• Electric motors, converters and filter units – Bombardier Inc. 🇨🇦
• Switchgear – Alstom 🇫🇷
• Braking equipment - Knorr-Bremse 🇩🇪
• Bearings – AB SKF 🇸🇪 and...

According to our data, today at 06:13, an Airbus A319 with reg.number A7-MED, operated by Qatar Amiri Flight, a Qatari state VVIP airline, arrived at Minsk National Airport.
The plane was parked on the territory of the FBO Minsk Business Aviation Center, which is located in the western part of the airport complex and is engaged in servicing VIP-guests. Ramzan Kadyrov’s plane was parked there on May 29.
A7-MED is an air ambulance that allows providing emergency aid to patients right during the flight. Previously, this plane was also used to transport former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
