Russian reconnaissance aircraft left Belarus

According to our information, at 10:30 on June 24, two Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces flew from Baranavichy airfield to Shatalovo airfield (Smolensk oblast, Russia). The 4th Separate Reconnaissance Squadron of the Russian Aerospace Forces (according to other data, combined aviation regiment) is based at the Russian airfield.

The aircraft have been permanently stationed in Belarus since January 2023. They participated in the joint Air Force drills of Belarus and Russia (in January 2023 and May 2024).

The Su-24MR aircraft provides all-weather comprehensive aerial reconnaissance at day and night to a depth of up to 400 kilometers from the line of contact with countermeasures against enemy air defense systems.

The current status of the Russian Aerospace Forces’ aviation group in Belarus:
• Lida airfield – 1 Su-25 attack aircraft;
• Baranavichy airfield – 4 Su-30SM...

Belarusian and Russian pilots conducted a joint training

On June 24, from 11:30 to 12:30, the first training of the air part of the military parade to be held on July 3 took place. Aircraft and helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force, as well as helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces participated in the training. We wrote about the dates of the training on June 20.

According to state media, 11 helicopters and 19 aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force, as well as 8 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces took part in the training. We recall that 11 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived in Belarus on June 21 to participate in the parade. That is, not all Russian helicopters took part in the training.

Also, state media noted that today was the first training of the air part of the parade. Thus, the statement of the Belarusian MoD that the first training was conducted on June 11 was once again refuted.

Claims regarding the aftermath of the recent Ukrainian strike on Yeysk (see thread attached:

“On June 21, 2024, a strike was carried out on the military training ground of the 726th Air Defense Training Center (military unit 33859, Yeysk) in the Krasnodar Region of Russia.

The training center is engaged in training and preparing military personnel to use various types of UAVs.

The strike was carried out by two cruise missiles of an unidentified type (probably R-360 Neptune).

The death of instructors and technical personnel from Yelabuga (employees of the plant that produces and maintains the analogue of the Iranian “Shahed-136” - “Geran-2”) is reported. Surnames of the killed instructors: Gunya, Sadreev, Kazhanov.

According to the source, destroyed:
• “Shahed-136”/“Geran-2” - 20 units;
• “Lancet” loitering munition - 50 units;
• Reconnaissance UAV “ZALA” - 40 units.

There is no information about casualties among military personnel.“...

Reportedly the first video documenting the use of M30 DPICM GMLRS rocket with cluster warhead launched from M142 HIMARS/M270 MLRS by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
