🇬🇧 "In the midst of the gray flock, wolves hide, that is, people who continue to know what freedom is. And these wolves are not only strong in themselves; there is also a danger that they will spread their attributes to the masses, when a bad day dawns, so that the herd becomes a horde.
Such is the nightmare that does not let those who have the power sleep peacefully."

The Cartographer’s Mirage That Would Not Drift

For centuries, Hy-Brasil was placed with unnerving precision—round, river-split, roughly 200 miles west of Ireland—but its stories never lined up with its coordinates. On some charts, it hovered alone in the Atlantic; on others, it brushed the edge of known coastlines. But the legends always said the same thing: it was visible only once every seven years, then vanished back into mist.

In Irish tradition, it was a place of great knowledge. Not just another lost island, but a hidden source. A surviving manuscript from the 14th century calls it “the promised land of the saints,” beyond the reach of ordinary maps. Later accounts said it was inhabited by monks, or sages, or black-cloaked scholars who watched without intervening. When Captain John Nisbet claimed in 1674 to have landed there, he described an island of lush fields, strange beasts, and a people who lived in silence, speaking only to share ancient knowledge. His tale may have been fiction—but it didn’t matter. The island had already survived without proof.

What’s most unusual is how the island never slipped into allegory. It wasn’t treated like Atlantis or Lyonesse—morality tales dressed as geography. Hy-Brasil remained concrete: a fixed shape, a known location, visited and missed in equal measure. It existed in that strange middle ground between folklore and navigation—too persistent to be forgotten, too elusive to be real.

Even today, its coordinates are easy to plot. But the island is gone. Or never there. Or not meant to be reached except when the conditions—calendar, belief, visibility—briefly align.

🇬🇧 The Peruvian Whistling Vessels

These vessels produce sounds by shaking or when a liquid is poured through them. This is achieved through a complex system of chambers and channels inside the vessel that act as resonators.

They could have served ritual and ceremonial purposes, possibly in connection with religious or spiritual practices.

Comparable whistling vessels also exist in other cultures and countries:

• In present-day Iraq, vessels were made that produced sounds when liquids were poured out.

• The pre-Columbian cultures of Mexico, such as the Aztecs and Maya, also made whistles and flutes from clay.

• The “Askoi” are known in Greece and made whistling sounds when liquid was poured through them.

• In Chinese ceramic art, there are also examples of whistling vessels.

🇬🇧 From the Old Clearings, Something Else Endures

When Alfred Watkins introduced the idea of “ley lines” in 1921, he wasn’t describing energy. He was following sightlines—ancient alignments where stone circles, mounds, moats, and churches seemed to fall into uncanny order across the landscape. He called them “leys,” borrowing from the Old English lēah, meaning a clearing in the woods. These were not poetic titles, but practical ones—place names like “Ashley,” “Whitley,” or “Hunley” that echoed old open grounds, many of them centered on prehistoric sites.

Watkins believed these straight lines once marked trackways or ritual paths, remembered not by maps, but by usage—routes carved through the forest by repetition and reverence. Later thinkers, especially in the 1960s, reimagined leys as channels of telluric force or spiritual current. That interpretation spread, but the word itself never meant energy. It meant space—cleared, remembered, marked.

Still, when you walk the line from a Bronze Age barrow to a ruined church to a forgotten well, something lingers. Not a measurable current, perhaps, but a different kind of charge: continuity, intention, the weight of places long aligned not for movement, but for meaning.

The Smithsonian Castle 1860

Built between 1847 and 1855 by architect James Renwick Jr., the Smithsonian Castle is the iconic headquarters of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. Behind its elegant neo-Gothic façades lies an institution shrouded in mystery.
According to numerous independent sources, the Smithsonian is said to have made thousands of artifacts disappear—items that could radically alter our understanding of history : giant skeletons, anachronistic technological objects, and evidence of ancient advanced civilizations.. These discoveries were allegedly deliberately hidden from the public to maintain a carefully orchestrated ignorance and, perhaps worse, to intentionally deceive humanity about its true and extraordinary origins..

Mummies Found in Utah

Kentucky newspaper 1894

https://x.com/1_analog_9/status/1650161046047592453

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 19—Charles A. Lang, an explorer from Pittsburgh, arrived in this city, Wednesday, with seven well preserved mummies discovered beneath the ruins of cliff dwellers' houses in southeastern Utah. These mummies are in an extraordinary state of preservation, which is accounted for by the entire absence of moisture from the atmosphere and earth in that district. Among the collection is a male of giant statue, two females and two boys. They are not bodies of the cliff dwellers, but of some race who lived before them. Their hair is reddish, instead of black, as with the cliff dwellers.

🇬🇧 "At all times people have wanted to "improve" people: first of all, this was called morality. But the most diverse tendencies are hidden under the same word. Both the domestication of the beastman and the breeding of a certain type of man have been called "improvement": only these zoological terms express realities - realities, of course, of which the typical "improver," the priest, knows nothing - wants to know nothing... To call the domestication of an animal its "improvement" is almost a joke to our ears. Who knows what is happening in the wild beasts, doubt the beast will be "improved" there. It weakens, becomes less harmful, becomes a morbid beast through the depressive affect of fear, through pain, through wounds, through hunger. - The situation is no different with the domesticated person whom the priest "improved". At the beginning of the Middle Ages, when, in fact, the church was above all a menagerie, people were always looking for the most beautiful specimens of the "blond beast" - for example, they "improved" the German nobles. But how was such an "improved" German, seduced in the monastery, from behind? Like a caricature of man, like a miscarriage: he had become a "sinner," they had caged him up, they had locked him up among all the terrible terms... There he lay, sick, miserable, malicious with himself; full of hatred against the impulses to life, full of suspicion against everything that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... Physiologically speaking: in the fight with the beast, getting sick may be the only means of weakening yourself. The Church understood this: she corrupted man, weakened him, but claimed to have "improved" him."

🇬🇧 Underground Streets: a Broken Chronology of Russia

Throughout Russia, during the construction of the city metro and the reconstruction of old quarters, entire underground streets with houses, furniture and rails are discovered.

The windows of old buildings and wooden beams sticking out of the ground indicate a large-scale decline in the surface level, not a slow "cultural layer".

Modern reports refer to this as the "historical layer" but ignore the obvious evidence of a recent landscape collapse. The mystery lies in the fact that these data were deliberately not included in scientific publications.
