Website map
๐Ÿ—บ

If you are a PM, BA ๐Ÿค– or you are connected with the setting up of the websites, I wonder which tools โš’๏ธ do you use for it? (Check the contacts for the feedback in the description)

I used to like Xmind, but when I was preparing lectures for the students ๐Ÿ‘ถI found out about FlowMapp and Octopus.

โ–ช๏ธFlowMapp allows you to create the website maps and business processes. There is a form for describing the page of the site in this tool.

โ–ช๏ธOctopus is useful for structuring the contents in the scheme, specific colors are used for header and footer.

Have you ever done free Usability testing?

I have found a fine ๐Ÿ‘ tool #Loop11, which gives you 25 days of trial period.

I donโ€™t know what you can do in the full version, but trial period gives:

โ–ช๏ธ testing of mock-up;
โ–ช๏ธ testing of prototype;
โ–ช๏ธ restriction with the time or with the first click;
โ–ช๏ธ opportunity to ask open questions and questions with the variants of replies;
โ–ช๏ธ screen record, voice and video record.

But unfortunately ๐Ÿ˜ญ you wonโ€™t record screen if prototype is made in Figma.

And by the way, respondents cost a lot.
One respondent costs from 800 to 1500 rubles. For good usability testing you should find around 21 people.

"According to Ericsson, because of the fast development of 5G ecosystem๐Ÿ“ฑ, the amount of connection to 5G Networks will excess 2.6 billions. The average consumption of traffic of one smartphone will grow from 7.2 GB to 24 GB by the end of 2025๐Ÿคช. Fast future growth is connected with the appearance of new services, for example the opportunity to watch streaming video๐ŸŽž with the usage of virtual and augmented reality" - states the document.

This news means that getting acquainted with the right mobile app development becomes more and more important for current and future analysts, designers and projects. The app development can take to a year of hard work. And no one wants to waste this time. Idea is obviously important๐Ÿค“, especially if it was checked via CustDev. But don't forget about such things as:

๐Ÿ”นHuman Interface Guidelines (ะpple)
๐Ÿ”นMaterial Design (Android)

Get inspired and watch the trends:

Figma
is a tool for designers๐ŸŽจ.

โ€ผ๏ธBut analysts, project managers and product managers will also need it.

In my work I use Figma to create:
๐Ÿ”ธwireframes;
๐Ÿ”ธpresentations.

โ—๏ธAll the necessary icons you can take from www.flaticon.com. There is a large choice of free material.

โ—๏ธGreat images can be found on https://freepik.com

Good luck with your work

Many people ๐Ÿ‘ฅ associate A / B tests with the comparison of the red ๐ŸŽˆand blue button.

If you look at Evan Miller's calculator ๐Ÿงฎ and assume that the red button will increase the conversion rate by 0.5% from the current 1%, then we already need to attract about 7 thousand people ๐Ÿฅณ for one screen for making a balanced decision.

Whether it is a lot or a little depends on the scale of the business๐Ÿฆ.

I think thatthis is meaningless for an online store of home-made sweets๐ŸŽ‚ or similar business. It is much better to test a text or a discount๐Ÿ’ธ.
With the developement of the ability to create a cool UI, this has received a lot of attention (I'm not saying that this is bad).

But looking at the same Apple ๐Ÿ“ฑguidelines,you can understand an important point that the colorfulness of the interface should not distract from the content and it is the content that is the main part of the product.

I would like โค๏ธ to devote this post to https://www.evanmiller.org (Sample Size Calculator), so I want to mention the possibility in the section Chi-Squared Test to check the significance of the difference between A and B variants based on statistical data.

Today I want to write about several main metrics for any product:
โ–ช๏ธ CAC (customer acquisition cost) - the cost of attracting of one customer (for a clothing store, it can be girls who click on the link and only some of them will buy dresses and then: the cost of showing (click) * number of girls who viewed (clicked)/ number of girls who bought them)
โ–ช๏ธ Retention -a metric that shows how many customers, who once bought something come back to us (an example is the same girl who clicked on a banner and bought a dress, and then returned to us a month later)
โ–ช๏ธ LTV (Lifetime Value) - the revenue that we receive from the customer during the usage of a product (and again we take an example of the girl who was visiting our store for a year and bought 5 dresses. All revenue from 5 dresses is LTV)
โ–ช๏ธ ROI (Return On Investment) - for example, you decided to buy an ad on Instagram for 1000$ and the revenue from customers attracted by this ad is equal to 2000$, so your ROI is 200%.
