That is indeed a remarkable milestone! The strategic collaboration between St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH), and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC/Sutter Health) to establish a historic liver transplant program in Ethiopia represents a major advancement for healthcare in Ethiopia and beyond.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and California Pacific Medical Center's (CPMC) Liver Transplant Department is a groundbreaking step for healthcare in Ethiopia. The establishment of the country’s first liver transplant program is an incredible milestone, opening doors for advanced medical procedures that were previously unavailable locally.
It's inspiring to see that this initiative is being led by Dr. Kidist K. Yimam, an Ethiopian-born diaspora,  Transplant Hepatologist, practicing at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Her efforts to collaborate with St. Paul’s Hospital and establish this liver transplant program in Ethiopia are commendable.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College by Dr. Sisay, the provost of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, and Dr. Kidist K. Yimam, Transplant Hepatologist and Medical Director of the Autoimmune Liver Disease program, California Pacific Medical Center.
Dr. Sisay, in his address, said, “I am sure that the shared expertise of both institutions will not only enable access to world-class liver transplant care within Ethiopia but also contribute to the development of medical expertise and healthcare systems in the field of organ transplantation.

የ2017 ዓም 6ኛው ዓለም አቀፍ የህሙማን ደኅንነት ቀን ዛሬ በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሊኒየም ኮሌጅ በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ተከበረ ።
በጤና ሚኒስቴር አዘጋጅነት የተከበረው ይህ ቀን "ደኅንነቱ የተረጋገጠ የተሟላ ምርመራ ለተሟላ ጤንነት" በሚል መሪ ሃሳብ የተመሠረተ ነው ።

በመክፈቻ ሥነ ሥርዓቱ ላይ የተገኙት በጤና ሚኒስቴር የጤና ሥርዓት ኢኖቬሽንና ጥራት መሪ ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ዶክተር አባስ ሀሰን እንደተናገሩት ዜጎች ጥራት ያለው ፍትሕዊና ደኅንነቱ የተረጋገጠ የጤና አገልግሎት እንዲያገኙ ሚኒስቴር መሥሪያ ቤታቸው እየሰራ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል ።
በተጨማሪም የጤና ሥርዓቱን በ ቴክኖሎጂ በማዘመን ደኅንነቱ የተጠበቀ የጤና አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል ሥራዎች መጀመራቸውንም ተናግረዋል : :

ኮሌጁ ባስተናገደው በዚህ ኩነት በነገው ዕለትም በህሙማን ደህንነት ጉዳዮች ያተኮሩ የጥናት ጽሁፎች የሚቀርቡበት ጉባዔም ይካሄ ዳል ።

በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሌንየም ህክምና ኮሌጅ በ2017 ዓ.ም የትምህርት ዘመን ህክምና /Medicine/ ትምህርት ለመማር ማመልከት ለምትፈልጉና ከዚህ በታች የሚስፈልጉትን መስፈርቶች የምታሟሉ አመልካቾች የኮሌጁን በይነመረብ ላይ በቅርቡ በሚገለጸው ማስፈንጠሪያ ገብታችሁ ማመልከት ትችላላሁ፡፡

Admission requirements
1. The applicant should only be who took Ethiopian higher education entrance examination (EHEEE) in 2024 GC (2016EC)
2. Ethiopian higher education entrance examination (EHEEE) result should be:
a. For Afar, Benshangul-Gumz, Borena (Oromia), Gambella, Somali, South Omo (South Ethiopia), West Omo(South west Ethiopia), Wagimera (Amhara):
For Male 450 and above
For Female 425 and above
b. For All other regions:
i. For those examined out of 600
For Male 500 and above
For Female 475 and above
ii. For those examined out of 700
For Male 580 and above
For Female 555 and above

3. The transcript average mark from 9th -12th grade should be 80% and above.
4. High school transcript from 9th -12th grade should be uploaded.
5. EHEEE result print out that show clear admission number should be uploaded.
6. Application fee of 250 Birr should be paid and the receipt should be uploaded.
7. The application will be complete if all necessary information is filled and uploaded. Incomplete applications will not be shortlisted

 Record your application number
 Click “upload receipt” which is located on the left side of the window and upload the receipt. You will get the following message:
“You have successfully uploaded your receipt. Now, you can upload your academic documents.”
 Click “upload document” which is located on the left side of the window and upload the Transcript and national exam result and click Summit document.

If your transcript is more than one, you have to merge and upload only single file.
All file should be in a PDF format.
