That is indeed a remarkable milestone! The strategic collaboration between St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH), and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC/Sutter Health) to establish a historic liver transplant program in Ethiopia represents a major advancement for healthcare in Ethiopia and beyond.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) and California Pacific Medical Center's (CPMC) Liver Transplant Department is a groundbreaking step for healthcare in Ethiopia. The establishment of the country’s first liver transplant program is an incredible milestone, opening doors for advanced medical procedures that were previously unavailable locally.
It's inspiring to see that this initiative is being led by Dr. Kidist K. Yimam, an Ethiopian-born diaspora,  Transplant Hepatologist, practicing at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Her efforts to collaborate with St. Paul’s Hospital and establish this liver transplant program in Ethiopia are commendable.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on behalf of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College by Dr. Sisay, the provost of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, and Dr. Kidist K. Yimam, Transplant Hepatologist and Medical Director of the Autoimmune Liver Disease program, California Pacific Medical Center.
Dr. Sisay, in his address, said, “I am sure that the shared expertise of both institutions will not only enable access to world-class liver transplant care within Ethiopia but also contribute to the development of medical expertise and healthcare systems in the field of organ transplantation.

የ2017 ዓም 6ኛው ዓለም አቀፍ የህሙማን ደኅንነት ቀን ዛሬ በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሊኒየም ኮሌጅ በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ተከበረ ።
በጤና ሚኒስቴር አዘጋጅነት የተከበረው ይህ ቀን "ደኅንነቱ የተረጋገጠ የተሟላ ምርመራ ለተሟላ ጤንነት" በሚል መሪ ሃሳብ የተመሠረተ ነው ።

በመክፈቻ ሥነ ሥርዓቱ ላይ የተገኙት በጤና ሚኒስቴር የጤና ሥርዓት ኢኖቬሽንና ጥራት መሪ ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ዶክተር አባስ ሀሰን እንደተናገሩት ዜጎች ጥራት ያለው ፍትሕዊና ደኅንነቱ የተረጋገጠ የጤና አገልግሎት እንዲያገኙ ሚኒስቴር መሥሪያ ቤታቸው እየሰራ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል ።
በተጨማሪም የጤና ሥርዓቱን በ ቴክኖሎጂ በማዘመን ደኅንነቱ የተጠበቀ የጤና አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል ሥራዎች መጀመራቸውንም ተናግረዋል : :

ኮሌጁ ባስተናገደው በዚህ ኩነት በነገው ዕለትም በህሙማን ደህንነት ጉዳዮች ያተኮሩ የጥናት ጽሁፎች የሚቀርቡበት ጉባዔም ይካሄ ዳል ።

በቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሌንየም ህክምና ኮሌጅ በ2017 ዓ.ም የትምህርት ዘመን ህክምና /Medicine/ ትምህርት ለመማር ማመልከት ለምትፈልጉና ከዚህ በታች የሚስፈልጉትን መስፈርቶች የምታሟሉ አመልካቾች የኮሌጁን በይነመረብ ላይ በቅርቡ በሚገለጸው ማስፈንጠሪያ ገብታችሁ ማመልከት ትችላላሁ፡፡

ለማመልከት የሚያስፈልጉ መስፈርቶች፤
1.  በ2016 ዓ.ም በመደበኛ ትምህርት ፕሮግራም 12ኛ ክፍል ትምህርት ያጠናቀቀ/ያጠናቀቀች
2.  በኢትዮጵያ የከፍተኛ ትምህርት መግቢያ ፈተና፤ከ600 የተፈተኑ
•  ከስር ከተዘረዘሩት ክልልና ዞኖች ውጪ ያሉ ሁሉም ክልሎች -
  ለወንድ 500 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያለው
  ለሴት 475 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያላት
ከ700 የተፈተኑ
  ለወንድ 580 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያለው
  ለሴት 555 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያላት

•  ለአፋር ክልል፣ለቦረና ዞን (ኦሮሚያ ክልል)፣ ለቤኒሻንጉል ጉሙዝ ክልል፣ለጋምቤላ ክልል፣ለሱማሌ ክልል፣ ለደቡብ ኦሞ ዞን (ደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል)፣ለዋግህምራ ዞን (አማራ ክልል) እና ለምእራብ ኦሞ ዞን (ደቡብ ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል)
  ለወንድ 450 እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያለው
  ለሴት 425  እና ከዚያ በላይ ውጤት ያላት

3.  ከ9ኛ-12ኛ ክፍል አማካይ የትራንስክሪፕት ውጤት 80% እና ከዚያ በላይ የሆነ
