I am pleased to share that our team participated in the 9th Sclera Segmentation Benchmarking Competition (SSBC 2025), a challenge focused on privacy-preserving sclera segmentation.
The competition evaluated how well models trained on synthetic data compare to those trained with real-world data, across two tracks:
Synthetic-only training
Mixed training
Our team 😍
Jalil Nourmohammadi Khiarak (team lead), Taher Akbari Saeed, Mahsa Nasehi, Ali Kianfar, Mobina pashazadeh panahi
developed a segmentation approach that achieved results within ~2% of the top-performing team in the best case.
