Literally open the NVIDIA Control Panel (if you're on Windows, with NVIDIA GPU and good SSD) and set Shader Cache size to 10GB.
Most of the new games will now launch faster and their performance will not degrade over time. The default value depends on many factors, but can stuck at 512MB-5GB range. Games need more.

In most cases you better avoid making hand-painted weights for wind distribution of every single plant, dammit!
You can simply use object-space to apply gradients from the origin based on height and distance from the stem. And apply the angle of the stem. Or at worst a mask that will apply more force to leaves.
