The #ArcticBlast that settled into the Lower 48 over the last 24 hours was detected by @NOAA's #GOESEast (#GOES19) 🛰️. The #Ozone Channel on the satellite's ABI instrument helps show the movement of the Arctic air over the U.S. (shades of blue).

An #AlbertaClipper is bringing an #ArcticBlast to the eastern U.S. today, along with #LakeEffect #snow to parts of OH, PA and NY. In this imagery from @NOAA's #GOESEast (#GOES19), you can see the counterclockwise spin of the clipper as it passes over the Great Lakes.
