🚨 Update from @SpaceX on the launch of Transporter-11 mission that will bring @esa's #ArcticWeatherSatellite and #Phisat2 to space:

Liftoff is now targeted for 20:56 CEST.

. @KSAT_Kongsberg is ready to monitor the launch of @esa's #ArcticWeatherSatellite📡🛰️

The first signal will be acquired from Svalbard ground station (Svalsat).
Svalsat's location at 78° North latitude provides a unique advantage for tracking and communicating with satellites in polar orbits.

While we wait for the launch window to open, let's have a look at why @esa's #ArcticWeatherSatellite is such a cool mission:

✅ we are currently missing data for data for accurate short-term forecasts: this satellite will do exactly that
✅ its development was faster and cheaper than the standard EO mission
✅ it's the prototype for a much bigger constellation that we would build for @eumetsat

#ArcticWeatherSatellite and #Phisat2 are now leaving Earth to start their missions. The two satellites are currently onboard a @spaceX Falcon-9 rocket.
