A late-season #Sahara Dust outbreak is visible in the latest GeoColor #satellite imagery. The western edge of the dust plume has reached the western Caribbean Sea and as far north as 28N. This should hinder #tropical cyclone development in the Atlantic for the next few days.

A low #pressure system and its associated tropical wave (Invest AL90) continue to develop west of the Cabo Verde Islands. As AL90 moves generally westward the next several days, both winds and seas will increase across the #tropical Atlantic.
