Hurricane #Gilma is churning between Tropical Depression #One-C near Hawaii and a developing tropical disturbance to the southeast. The depression may prompt a Tropical Storm Watch for portions of the main Hawaiian Islands tonight or Friday.

RT @JPSSProgram: Hurricane #Gilma was captured in a #NOAA21 satellite image on Aug. 25, 2024, off the west coast of North America, next to Tropical Storm Hector.

According to @NHC_Pacific, as of Aug. 26, 2024, Gilma has maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.
