✳️ LETTER: The denial of truth and its alternative

➡️ Last week excerpts from an open letter by Pakhshan Azizi, a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death, titled “Concealment of Truth and Its Alternative”, were circulated on social media. The text is a translation of the complete version of Pakhshan Azizi’s letter published by Birdazani on 27 July. In her letter, Azizi details the violent manner in which she and her family were arrested by security forces, the torture she endured during the detention and her political stances and activities.

Rojava is under attack! Since last night the Turkish State has targeted the region and caused at least 12 deaths and many more injured!
The current attacks on North and East Syria by the Turkish State are the response of a state under pressure! The AKP's poor approval ratings, a broken economy and the expanding Israeli hegemony in the region are putting pressure on Erdogan.
It is well known that Turkey knows no other way out of this situation than to direct armed attacks against civilians.

Since last night, the Turkish state has targeted at least 42 service facilities in North and East Syria. The current attacks caused at least 13 deaths and many more injuries. These attacks are the actions of a state under pressure! The AKP's low approval ratings, a broken economy and the expanding Israeli military offensives in the region are putting pressure on Erdogan.
Again, the patriarchal Turkish state doesn't know any other way out of this situation than direct armed attacks against civilians in Rojava.
At the same time yesterday, after 43 months without any visit, Ömer Öcalan was able to talk to A. Öcalan on the prison island of Imral?. It is time for new peace talks: Freedom for Öcalan and a solution for the Kurdish Question!

🆕 RIC published a summary on the latest airstrikes on NES:

On October 23 and 24, Turkey has attacked 30 confirmed locations throughout NES, carrying out airstrikes targeting electricity, oil, and other civilian infrastructure. Many locations were hit several times.

The air strikes targeted factories, two bakeries, a health center, and Asayish (Internal Security Forces) checkpoints. Oil stations such as Awda, Tafla, and Suwaydiyah, along with power stations in Kobane and Amude that supply and service the cities were also hit.

This repeated targeting of vital and service facilities precipitates a humanitarian disaster in an area that is home to millions of people, who are already suffering from severe fuel and gas shortages as a result of Turkey’s repeated targeting of infrastructure facilities in previous years.
