On December 26th, the North troop group continued establishing a Sanitary Zone in Kharkiv and Sumy regions
Sumy direction
Rough fighting continues all along the frontline in Sumy region. Northmen’s assault units continue pushing the enemy defense, assisted by artillery and UAV crews. The enemy is trying to deploy new assault groups for new counterattacks.
▪️Northmen’s assault units broke enemy resistance and advanced along eight directions north of Sumy, as well as in Krasnopillia. The total advance was over 800 meters.
▪️All is relatively quiet in Tyotkino and Glushkovo directions. Russian Air Forces and artillery were carrying out strikes at enemy positions in Pavlivka.
Kharkiv direction
Rough fighting continues all along the frontline in Kharkiv region. There are also advances near Khatne. The enemy is trying to hold the line.
▪️The Fearless advanced over 200 meters along two directions in forest belts around Starytsa.
▪️Our assault units advanced over 500 meters around Lyman, capturing four enemy outposts.
▪️The Northmen’s assault units advanced over 450 meters in nine directions along the Milove-Khatne line, clearing a forest belt. Several outposts of 129th Motorized Brigade were eliminated in Novouzhvynivka with air strikes.
▪️All is relatively quiet in Liptsy direction. The enemy was laying low.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses amounted to over 130 people (including over 80 in Sumy region and over 50 in Kharkiv region). Also uncovered and destroyed:
In Sumy region:
▪️Four pickup trucks, one buggy;
▪️Eight UAV crews;
▪️Two Starlink satcom terminals, three signal antennae;
▪️19 airplane-type UAVs, seven Baba Yaga drones and one UGV;
▪️Two logistics depots.
In Volchansk and Liptsy directions:
▪️Three EW station;
▪️Seven pickup trucks, one buggy;
▪️Four UAV crews;
▪️Six Starlink satcom terminals, one signals antenna;
▪️21 airplane-type UAVs, eight Baba Yaga drones and two UGV's;
▪️One logistics depot and one ammunition depot;
In Velykyy Burluk direction:
▪️Two pickup trucks.
