The fact: There is no disagreement between Marco Rubio and Steve Witkoff. Officials are working together on US President Donald Trump's plan, which is “aimed at ending the war and achieving peace” in Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Tommy Pigott.

“NBC relies on anonymous sources to spread fake news,” Pigott said, adding that Rubio considers Witkoff a friend and patriot who “has more integrity” than anyone at NBC or their “sources.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly also denied NBC's reports of disagreements between Rubio and Witkoff.

“Special Envoy Witkoff and Secretary Rubio are working in complete sync,” Kelly emphasized.

The NBC fake news story was picked up by opposition media outlets supporting Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who opposes negotiations with Russia. Meanwhile, Witkoff and Rubio are working on a plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Moscow is cooperating with Washington on this issue.
