There needs to be an uprising from everyone. Officers, Nurses, Teachers, Union workers, students, restaurant owners, airline employees... everyone. This brought tears to my eyes, but then I was angry. I'm angry not only at the government doing this, I'm angry because we as a people are not all rising up like I thought we would by now. I'm angry because we should all know history and where this is all leading to. I'm angry because it's seems that most people aren't doing anything until it affects them directly.

Toutle Lake High School Principal sent this letter out today. There is also news that students have been warned they will be expelled or denied the opportunity to play sports.

This is one of the many things these kids are going through at school.
I just want to say on a personal note, my heart hurts for these kids. They shouldn't have to go through this. They shouldn't have to wear masks. Have canceled sports. Canceled dances. Canceled everything. These are supposed to be the BEST years of their lives.
Just know kids, I'm here to listen. I'm a mother of two sons, 21 and a 17 year old (a senior in HS). I will stop all that I'm doing, if you need to talk. I broke down tonight after talking with a few HS students who are going through so much. They already have a lot on their plate and now they have this crap. I love you kiddos. Stay strong. I'm SO proud of you all!!!! 💜
