Media9/11 is a day that is painful to think about.There are two 9/11 years I will never forget.The first being in 2001. The 9/11 most of us can remember exactly where we were and what we were doing in those moments. For my family and I though the memories are a little different. We were living in Kuwait at the time.The fear of living as American Expats in a Middle Eastern country were terrifying at the time, but also very humbling to see how the country came together to pay its respects at the American Embassy.The next was 2005. My dad had an accident that broke his back and changed all of our lives forever.You see 9/11 is a hard and painful day to remember, but it’s one we will never forget.There are moments in your life that make you and set the course for who you are going to be. Sometimes they are little subtle moments. Sometimes, they are big moments that you never saw coming.No one asks for their life to change, but it does.That's when you find out who you are. I hope we never forget how 9/11 changed us all in some way or another.I hope it can serve as a reminder this year that we are ONE nation under God and can be as kind to one another as we all were on 9/12/2001.Just remember God is in total control.
