Medialunch at la sagrada familia, Barcelona πͺπΈπͺπΈSadly it has been under construction for over a century but it didnβt really take away too much form the beauty of the building. you can also get tickets to go inside (give me a shout,I have them to pre-order) but sadly we didnβt have time on this trip. The design is a Gaudi design and he is actually buried inside here. He said the design was inspired by nature. The faces of those who worked on the sagrada are embedded in the stones of the building. It is the tallest religious building in Europe. In 2010 the pope took away its cathedral title and said it is a minor basilica. There are lots of little Spanish restaurants along the streets next to the Sagrada and we had a really tasty Spanish lunch (Iβll find the name of the restaurant and add it in). You have to check this out if your going to Barcelona!! We walked here from Camp Nou - took about an hour- but we wanted to see more of the city, itβs very easy accessible by metro and public transport though. #lasagradafamilia #barcelonacity #barcelona #sagradafamilia #gaudi #gaudiarchitecture #thescottishtravelgirl #europeansummer #travelwithme #travelhubco #explorespain #travelblogger
