Проблема в том, что компания Huawei намерена лишь частично открыть проект - код Vulkan-драйвера на базе Mesa Vulkan Runtime и низкоуровневые компоненты, использующие промежуточное представление NIR, решено открыть, но бэкенд для трансляции промежуточного представления NIR в машинный код хотят поставлять в виде бинарного блоба, что бы не раскрывать информацию об архитектуре набор команд GPU (GPU ISA).

Snehal Antani, CEO of Horizon3.ai, a cybersecurity firm that uses AI to autonomously probe organizations for real-world vulnerabilities, argues that claims of AI models destroying companies on their own are overstated. Currently, these systems perform well in controlled cyber range tests but face challenges against defended and deceptive production networks. Their limitations include greedy decision-making, poor adaptation in protected environments, overdependence on limited training data, and a tendency to interact with suspicious decoys even after recognizing them as traps. Nonetheless, the threat continues to grow as human hackers have access to virtually unlimited "AI interns" for uncovering vulnerabilities. Additionally, the rapid rise of vibe-coded applications and AI agents is expanding the pool of insecure systems vulnerable to attack.

Спор возник в обсуждении возможной интеграции системы учёта патчей Patchwork с Sashiko — открытым агентным средством рецензирования изменений ядра Linux. Система отслеживает общедоступные списки рассылки, анализирует поступающие патчи при помощи языковых моделей и пытается обнаруживать архитектурные ошибки, проблемы безопасности, управления ресурсами и параллельного выполнения. Код Sashiko передан Linux Foundation и распространяется под Apache 2.0, а работу публичного сервиса и расходы на используемые модели оплачивает Google.
