"The Kyoto Festival of Modular (KFoM) is the younger sister/brother of the Tokyo Festival of Modular (TFoM) and works closely with the organizers of the community related to modular events in Japan.
As a modular synthesizer music festival, the KFoM is organized one weekend after the TFoM. In 2018, it will be on November 24 - 25, with an opening event on the 23rd.
In 2018, the main venue for the KFoM will be FORUM Kyoto, where modular companies can expose and sell their products, and artists play live until 1 am.
Application for vendors and sponsors are mainly handled by the TFoM so that foreign companies and artists coming to Tokyo have also the possibility of going to Kyoto.
As a community, KFoM is also organizing, producing and promoting DIY synth events, lives and workshops all around the year."
