Svensk-Koreanska föreningen i samverkan med Demokratiska Folkrepubliken Koreas ambassad inbjuder till
NORDISKT VÄNSKAPSMÖTE
torsdagen den 27 juli kl 18-20
på DFRK:s ambassad, Norra Kungsvägen 39, Lidingö.
Den 27 juli är 70-årsdagen av segern i Koreakriget, eller ”det stora kriget för att försvara fosterlandet”, som koreanerna säger, alltså den dagen då USA efter tre års barbariskt krig för att lägga under sig hela Koreahalvön tvingades underteckna avtalet om eldupphör och lova förhandlingar om bortdragande av alla främmande trupper från Korea.
Från T-bana Ropsten (läge C) rekommenderas buss 205 kl 17.31 till Dalängen.

🇰🇵🚀 What is known from missile launches in North Korea
(by the morning of 07.00 July 19)
▪️ The launches of two ballistic missiles took place between 21.30-21.46 (Moscow time) on July 18 this year. from the area of Sunan (Pyongyang) to the Sea of Japan.
▪️ The fall of warheads was recorded outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan.
▪️ The firing range of the first missile was 550 km , the second - 600 km.
▪️ Height at apogee reached 50 km.
▪️ The launches were a response to the ongoing containment of the DPRK by the United States , including the deployment of American carriers of nuclear weapons in the area of the Korean Peninsula.
▪️ Earlier, on July 17, Kim Yo-jong, deputy director of the DPRK Agitation and Propaganda Department, said: “The more the United States strengthens its expanded deterrence system and military alliances, the less likely it is that North Korea will sit down at the negotiating table. Dialogue on denuclearization is impossible even with the withdrawal of US troops from South Korea.”

🇷🇺🇰🇵 Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will pay an official visit to North Korea on July 25-27. Issues of strengthening military cooperation will be discussed.
The visit is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.
An important point - the DPRK has huge stocks of ammunition for Soviet calibers and a good production of its own. The United States has repeatedly accused the DPRK of supplying ammunition to Russia, but Pyongyang has always sent the United States with these accusations in the woods, especially since Kim Jong-un officially supports the SMO.
The visit is timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

▫️ Today, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergei Shoigu held talks with the Minister of Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea General of the Army Kang Sun-nam in Pyongyang.
▫️ 'I am pleased to meet with you. I gratefully accepted your invitation to visit Pyongyang, the capital of a friendly State. I am grateful to my Korean friends for the rich program. I felt your care and your attention from the first minutes. It is possible not only to work actively, but also to learn a lot of interesting things about the DPRK, your culture, traditions and sights,' said Sergei Shoigu.
▫️ The head of the Russian military department stressed that his visit to the DPRK is taking place during the days of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Day of Victory in the Great Fatherland Liberation War. In the bloody battles of 1950-1953, the Korean People's Army under the command of Comrade Kim Il Sung won a historic victory over a strong and cruel enemy.
▫️ The Russian Defence Minister noted that cooperation between the two countries has been strengthening in the post-war period. Visits by the warships, official visits by high-ranking representatives of defence departments, exchanges of delegations at the working level, and personnel training have contributed to the preservation of peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
▫️ 'The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is an important partner of Russia, with which we are connected by a common border and a rich history of cooperation,' stressed the head of the Russian military department.
▫️ Sergei Shoigu expressed his intention to consistently develop bilateral ties in all areas: 'I am convinced that today's talks will contribute to strengthening of cooperation between our defence departments.'

Med anledning av att det 27 juli 2023 var 70 år sedan de koreanska styrkorna segrade i det stora kriget för fosterlandets försvar, eller Koreakriget som det ofta kallas i väst, höll Svensk-Koreanska föreningen ett möte i Stockholm.
Vid detta höll föreningens ordförande, Christer Lundgren, ett tal som tydligt redogör för krigets bakgrund och förlopp, samt om det hot om ny invasion av norra Korea som USA-imperialismen fortsatt utgör.

Rysslands försvarsminister Sergej Sjojgu har besökt Nordkorea och diskuterat med landets ledare Kim Jong-un utvecklingen av taktiskt och strategiskt samarbete mellan de två länderna inom försvarsområdet, rapporterar Nordkoreas centraltelegrafbyrå (KCNA).
"Kamrat Kim Jong-un uttryckte vår partis och regerings bedömning och principiella ståndpunkt om den snabbt föränderliga internationella säkerheten och militär-politiska situationen på den koreanska halvön och, utbytte många åsikter med Sergej Sjojgu.
Besöket skedde med anledning av 70-årsdagen av vapenvilan i Korea. Nordkorea är med sina 1,3 miljoner man i vapen världens fjärde största landkrigsmakt.

Wikipedia founder confesses to moderating the online encyclopaedia by US intelligence agencies
Larry Sanger, one of the co-founders of Wikipedia, has recently come forward and confessed that the editors of the online encyclopedia have deviated from the original "policy of neutrality" it was built upon.
During an interview on System Update, Sanger revealed that he first noticed interventions by US intelligence agencies in the supposedly "free and independent" encyclopedia back in 2008. Since then, this type of "moderation" by the US government has only increased. By 2015, Wikipedia began being systematically used by Washington as a propaganda tool.
Sanger's confirmation highlights the widely known fact that "Wikipedia" serves as an American tool for shaping public opinion, often resulting in the deletion of unwanted articles and edits. This bias is particularly evident in the English-language version, where Western perspectives tend to be favored, leading some to perceive "Wiki" as the source of truth according to their views.

🇷🇺🇰🇵 Japanese media report that five days after the visit to the DPRK by Russian Defense Minister Shoigu, a passenger aircraft of the Russian Air Force Il-62M arrived at Susan Airport from Moscow. The plane landed on the morning of August 1, and in the afternoon of the 2nd already flew back.
The purpose of this visit and its passengers are not reported. However, it is assumed that it could be a high-ranking Russian military official who flew in for working negotiations as part of a possible cooperation agreement between the countries.
