Al-'Allamah Rabi' Ibn Hadi al-Madkhali (حفظه الله تعالى) said,
"Shaykh Rabi' was never an Ikhwani at all, he only accompanied them for a time with the condition that they expel the people of innovation from their ranks and with the condition that they educate their youth upon the Salafi Manhaj, not with the people of innovation amongst them. Indeed, some of the Salafis have done this and from them is Shaykh al-Albani. So will you say - O 'Adnan - that al-Albani was Ikhwani or with the Ikhwan? Will you request a recantation from him?"
Refer to Inqidad al-Shuhab al-Salafiyyah 'ala Awkar 'Adnan al-Khalafiyyah (p. 82).
We ask Allah to preserve and protect Shaykh Rabi' al-Madkhali and grant him a full recovery!
