I was reading about Saddam Hussein and wow we really screwed him lol.
We wrongfully accused him of having weapons of mass destruction and used that to invade his country.
We purposely sparked a coup to get him out of power and install a puppet pseudo democratic government.
Then we capture him and I guess because he didn’t have wmd’s we charge him with crimes against humanity for something 20 years earlier (that he likely didn’t even do).
During the trial his lawyers keep getting assassinated, then the judge is removed and changed at the last second and sentences him to death.
Oh and we also killed a few of his kids and grandkids.
