“Here I am Lord” is my favorite hymn. I love how the verses are sung from God’s perspective. He asks, “Whom shall I send?” Then the chorus is our humble response: “Is it I, Lord? Here I am Lord.” It mirrors Isaiah 6:8.

I’ve started watching “The Chosen” and it’s really good. Despite creative liberties and some theological inaccuracies, it brings the humanity of the Apostles to life. It’s not a replacement for the Bible or the Catechism, but I find it deeply spiritually enriching.
