During a live broadcast, Argentine TV channel Amรฉrica 24 (A24) occupied the space where Chilean citizens were waiting to greet President-Elect Josรฉ Antonio Kast.
๐น Kast repeatedly asked the press to move and make room, stressing that โthey are pressing and crowding the citizens who are waiting.โ
๐น He requested respect and reminded the media that a press conference would be held shortly, properly organized.
๐น Kast stated that journalists were welcome to attend the press conference, but if they did not agree with the organization, they should not attend.
๐น An A24 journalist replied that Kast โhad an obligation to answer.โ
๐น A24 refused to move.
By contrast, another news channel, La Naciรณn (LN+), agreed with Kastโs request on air, stating โKast is right,โ and made space for the citizens, unlike A24.
After Kast ended the interaction with A24 saying โWe wonโt see each other anymore,โ Amรฉrica 24 accused him on air of โthreateningโ the press and shifted the discussion toward his family background, referencing his fatherโs past in the German Wehrmacht (highlighting it as Nazi) and making political remarks related to the Pinochet era.

President Javier Milei met with Lula da Silva in Brazil to attend the Mercosur Summit, despite the fact that the regional bloc's agreement with the European Union will be postponed until 2026.

Once the various paperwork was filed, the Supervisory Administrator for Nighttime Transportation Activities confirmed that Santa was able to complete final preparations for delivery this afternoon.
Greenland: Earlier this evening, a US Air Force RADAR site detected an object departing the North Pole. As the object flew over the Norwegian territory of Svalbard, observers saw a bright red light shining from the object, marking it's position in the night sky.
Alaska: Some time later, the United States Air Force Center for Logistical Analysis of Unknown Sky Events scrambled F-16 fighter aircraft to visually confirm the presence of Mr. Claus, however the pilots were unable to keep up with Santa as he was flying much too fast for normal aircraft. At Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, the director of the Joint Organization for Leading Logistics, Yearly stated that he had never before seen anything fly so fast, and that Santa's sleigh must have been upgraded earlier this year.

St. Nicholas' power does work globally, however it is helpful to make his job a little easier when possible as he has a lot of homes to visit!
