Entire neighbourhoods are now heavily populated by German speakers, to the extent that German is often the default language you expect to hear in cafรฉs, co-working spaces, gyms, and along popular coastal routes. German-owned businesses, schools, tour operators, and social networks have quietly embedded themselves into the cityโs everyday life.

There's a certain irony in stealing the term "neocolonisation" from the leftists, but it's humorously apt. Germans are fleeing the tyrannical bureaucracy of the European Union in favour of freedom.
In any case, the Boere have always been Germanophilic and an increase in the White population is welcomed with open arms and a broad smile.
After the second Anglo Boer war the British tried to draft the men from my great grandfather's community to go fight for them against Germany. The men all plotted together and jumped a moving train in full uniform and escaped into the bush, choosing desertion and the threat of execution over "betraying their German brothers for the English."
