Leaked internal documents show that Russia and China have significantly expanded their military partnership beyond what either government has publicly acknowledged, with cooperation reportedly encompassing artificial intelligence, advanced electronics, drone development, missile defense, armored vehicles, and military aviation.

The documents indicate Beijing has exchanged technology and industrial support for Russian battlefield experience gained in Ukraine, while the 2 countries have also worked on capabilities to jam, hack, and potentially disable Starlink satellite communications.

The files point to an increasingly integrated strategic relationship that extends well beyond economic ties and reflects deepening military and technological coordination between Moscow and Beijing.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued a maritime security advisory after an eastbound tanker transiting approximately 50 nautical miles south of Aden, Yemen, was approached by 6 small boats of Somali pirates from Puntland that attempted to hijack the tanker.

The vessel's armed security team fired warning shots.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty has said that more than a decade of negotiations over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam has failed to produce a legally binding agreement and has effectively reached a dead end, accusing Ethiopia of using talks to entrench unilateral control over the Blue Nile.

Cairo continues to reject the dam’s filling and operation without an agreed framework governing water releases, particularly during droughts, and has warned that it will take all measures permitted under international law to protect Egypt’s water security if its Nile supplies are endangered.

Ethiopia, which inaugurated the dam in 2025, maintains that the project is essential for electricity generation and regional development and says it will not significantly harm downstream states.

The UK government has designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps under new state-threat legislation designed to impose restrictions comparable to those applied to banned terrorist groups, following the fact that IRGC-linked networks directed or supported attacks, intimidation and assassination plots on British soil.

Once the designation receives parliamentary approval and enters into force, working for, materially supporting or coordinating with the IRGC in prohibited activities will become a serious criminal offence;

The measure also targets the Iran-backed Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right (IMCR), also known as Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI), under its new state-threat powers. The group, which is directed by the IRGC's Quds Force, was responsible for a series of attacks in the UK, including arson attacks targeting synagogues, Hatzola ambulances, and the London-based Iranian opposition broadcaster Iran International.

Remnants of Russia’s Wagner Group have built an autonomous criminal network in the Central African Republic, where as many as 500 former mercenaries operating under the leadership of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s son Pavel are alleged to control lucrative gold, timber and tramadol-trafficking operations.

The network imports high-dose tramadol through neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo and distributes it to miners, armed fighters and politically connected groups, using the proceeds to purchase weapons and preserve its independence after much of Wagner’s wider African structure was absorbed by Russian state forces.

The group also retains control over the Ndassima gold mine, with earnings of more than $100 million in annual illicit revenue. Additionally, it generatz roughly $180 million more from Wagner-linked gold exports across the country.

Yesterday (Sunday), the IDF struck in southern Gaza and eliminated the terrorist Mustafa Oweisi, who attempted to smuggle military equipment into the Strip.

Oweisi operated throughout the war to smuggle weapons into the Gaza Strip and, more recently, attempted to smuggle additional military equipment in an effort to rebuild Hamas’ military wing, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The military equipment he attempted to smuggle was intended for use by Hamas in the maritime and aerial domains.
