The U.S. has imposed new sanctions against Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry: The imposition of new U.S. sanctions on Iranian individuals and entities is a blatant violation of Article 9 of the MoU. We have made it clear from the beginning that our approach is 'commitment for commitment', meaning that we will not fulfill any commitment without a corresponding commitment from the other side.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei:
Iran will not allow inspections at nuclear facilities that were damaged in attacks by the United States and Israel, and UN Security Council Resolution 2231 has effectively lost its legal validity.
We did not ask to renew talks with the US, as the Americans claim. We agreed to receive a visit from the mediators in Tehran.

Ali Khomeini, the grandson of the first Ayatollah of Iran, Ali Khomeini - in a message regarding negotiations with America and criticizing the government officials:
It is not permissible to rely on the people in times of crisis, and then when the situation calms down, say that these same people are hardliners and extremists. We must listen to the demands of the people.
Anyone who wants to negotiate in order to achieve peace with America is a traitor. And anyone who sends them messages of friendship has a foul and impure mouth.
Our problem with America isnโt an issue of today or yesterday; it started decades ago when they committed a coup against Iran. But with what theyโve done recently (killing of Khamenei), theyโve planted a seed of enmity that will never go away.

Part of a statement issued by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, on the occasion of the funeral of his father Ali Khamenei, where he promises revenge for his death:
I say to our martyred Leader [Ali Khamenei]: We pledge to avenge your pure blood and that of all the martyrs that fell in these two recent wars of aggression. This revenge is the will of our nation, and will certainly be carried out.
The criminals responsible, whose list is openly available from top to bottom, will wish to die a peaceful death in bed. But theyโll take that unfulfilled wish to their graves.
They should know that this matter does not depend on me or other officials. Whether we are there or not, this matter will be realized and soon each and every free person in the world will fulfill a part of this divine mission.

A cruise ship Scarlet Lady, carrying approximately 1,900 passengers on an LGBTQ-themed voyage, was denied permission to dock in both Turkey and Egypt within the same week.
The ship had been scheduled to dock in Kuลadasฤฑ, Turkey, but Turkish authorities canceled the visit on Friday, stating that the passengers' activities "do not align with the fabric of Turkish society and its moral values." As a result, the ship altered its itinerary and continued its voyage toward Crete and Egypt. The CEO of the company organizing the cruise said that in 36 years of operation, they had never experienced a country refusing one of their ships entry.
Shortly afterward, Egyptian authorities also denied the Scarlet Lady permission to dock at the port of Alexandria, with no official explanation provided for the decision. The stop in Egypt had been expected to be one of the highlights of the voyage, with many of the passengers having purchased excursions to visit landmarks such as the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids.
Representatives of Hermes Holidays, a company specializing in LGBTQ travel, said that this marks the first time in their decades of experience that 2 countries have refused entry to one of their cruises within a single week. They also noted that the Scarlet Lady had previously docked in Turkey 13 times, with local residents described as welcoming and friendly toward LGBTQ passengers. According to the company, LGBTQ travelers had likewise been warmly received during previous visits to Egypt.

Nearly 2 million people were evacuated as Typhoon Bavi made landfall near Taizhou in Chinaโs eastern Zhejiang province late Saturday, bringing maximum sustained winds of approximately 144 kilometers per hour, torrential rain and a heightened risk of flooding and landslides.
Authorities cancelled hundreds of flights, suspended some high-speed railway and ferry services, closed schools and issued an orange typhoon warning alongside the countryโs highest-level red rainstorm alert.
Bavi, which had earlier affected Japanโs southern islands and Taiwan, is the second typhoon to strike China in just over a week, following Typhoon Maysak, and is expected to weaken gradually as it moves inland.

Iranian state-affiliated media published what it described as a hit list of senior Israeli, American and European leaders under the headline "Revenge Is Certain," identifying figures it claims bear responsibility for the killing of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The list includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, senior U.S. military officials, and the leaders of Britain, France, Germany and Italy.
The publication follows renewed vows of revenge by Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who declared that those responsible for his father's death "will not escape justice."
Additionally, Israeli intelligence warned the United States this week about a very specific plot to assassinate Trump.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announces the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after firing at a vessel tonight and warning of further military action if the United States or its allies escalate the situation:
In a previous announcement, we stated that foreign interference and the illegal designation of a shipping lane in the Strait of Hormuz near Oman would elicit a firm response from us and would prevent any increase in traffic through the strait.
Hours ago, these warnings were once again ignored. Instigated by foreign powers, several vessels attempted to deviate from the Iranian-designated route, disregarding our repeated warnings and alerts to correct their course and remain within the approved route.
Consequently, one of these vessels, which had switched off its transponders, thereby endangering maritime security, was fired upon and stopped by the IRGC Navy.
Following this incident, firstly, due to this security breach resulting from illegal foreign interference, the Strait of Hormuz will be temporarily closed until further notice and until the U.S. ceases its interference in this region. No vessel will be permitted to pass through.
Secondly, should the aggressor, exploiting this incident (which it itself caused), commit any further transgressions, we shall respond forcefully, and additional enemy bases in the region will be targeted.
The consequences of such intervention will fall upon the American-Zionist enemy and the countries that have placed their territories at the disposal of enemy bases for these threats.
