Responsibilities:
support core BackEnd team working on MMO game
• Develop and implement meta gameplay features within meta server
• Develop and implement auto-tests covering meta features
• Design and implement APIs and protocols that are consistent, formalized, and testable.
• Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code.
• Ensure stability of several backend services.
• Investigate and response to issues arising in the live environment.
• Integrate solution with third-party engines and platforms.
• Maintain and keep the system documentation updated.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of Python programming.
• 3+ years of experience in server software development.
• Experience with developing asynchronous/multithreaded applications.
• Familiarity with databases and message brokers.
• Experience of working with distributed systems.
• Experience with load testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance of server services.

Additional skills:
• Experience with or willingness to learn Rust
• Experience with C++
• Game development experience
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Actor model frameworks (Akka, CAF, Orleans, Actix etc.)

✨Expectations:

- Experience in debugging build systems (Make, CMake, Bazel, etc.);
- Knowledge of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines;
- Knowledge of several programming languages;
- Infrastructure management (Ansible);
- Experience in configuring and supporting Nginx;
- Experience in setting up and using monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana);
- English level B2 (Upper-Intermediate).
