As a remote worker, I ran into a problem with consistently overworking and tending to prefer to spend additional hour at my laptop instead of going for a walk. Over a year a go I figured it was pretty consistent and I realized it is a problem. So I started looking for ways to solve it. The quality of my work was also declining because it is hard to be focused for longer than 5 hours a day.
I think I was able to figure out a way to trick my brain into doing personal projects instead of clocking an extra hour at work. So I recorded a video to I explain the idea behind my #insteadOfCommute projects that help me achieve work-life balance while working remotely full time.
