Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings: Drug smugglers get spooked this Halloween weekend.

Smugglers abandoned their drug loads and fled back to Mexico as agents closed in on their location. Over 860 pounds of drugs seized.

Detectives from the LASD Missing Persons Detail are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Andrew Thomas McGinnis-Bruno, a 29 year-old White male who last contacted family on October 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. from a motel in San Dimas.

Mr. McGinnis-Bruno is described as 6’01”, 150lbs., with blue eyes and blonde hair. He has tattoos of the words “Marcel” and “Judy” on his inner left forearm, a skull on his inner left forearm near the elbow, and the words “Devil Dog” on his upper left arm.

He was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a spotted sweatshirt.

Mr. McGinnis-Bruno is bipolar. His family is very concerned for him and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

As its homeless residents are relocated, work was beginning Monday to clear out the Veterans Row encampment just outside the Veterans Affairs campus in West Los Angeles. The encampment along San Vicente Boulevard, known for its tents draped with American flags, was home to dozens of veterans who have served in the Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam and Gulf wars.

Los Angeles: Two people suffered severe burn injuries in a solo-vehicle crash in Winnetka Monday afternoon, officials said. The crash occurred when a red vehicle plowed into some parked cars and burst into flames around 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of Saticoy Street and Mason Avenue, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
