This domestic terror attack in Minneapolis was the direct consequence of sanctuary politicians, like Tim Walz and Jacob Frey, who constantly demonize and vilify our brave officers.

Sanctuary politicians are allowing situations around the country to become volatile, they’re not doing their jobs, and they haven’t for years.

In the interest of public safety I would encourage them to grow up.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: It is with profound sadness that we confirm the line of duty death of Officer Elijah Garretson, badge number 118.

At our request, the Texas Rangers are conducting an investigation into an officer involved shooting that occurred on January 10, 2026, which resulted in the on-duty death of Officer Garretson. The suspect was later located, and following a lengthy negotiation attempt, the suspect took his own life.

As we begin to navigate this incredibly difficult time, we ask for understanding and patience as our department, Officer Garretson’s family, and our law enforcement family grieve this tremendous loss. Out of respect for all those affected and the ongoing investigation, no further information is being released at this time.

We ask the community to keep Officer Garretson’s loved ones and our department in their thoughts and prayers. 🕊️💙🙏🏼

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: "At approximately 01:49 AM, a GPD officer was ambushed at the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center (4 McGee St). This seemed to be a targeted attack against law enforcement. The officer was taken to the hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.

BREAKING: Mississippi's largest synagogue, Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, was severely damaged in a suspected arson attack on January 10, 2026.

A suspect was arrested, but no motive or details were immediately released. The fire destroyed the library, administrative offices, and two Torah scrolls, but no injuries were reported.

The Jackson Fire Department, along with the FBI and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, arrested a suspect they believe caused the fire intentionally, according to local media. The suspect’s name and the suspicions against them were not immediately released.

A 35 year old male victim was struck in the back by gunfire and transported to U of C Hospital where he was pronounced.

The Oxnard CA Police Department sadly announced the sudden loss of Oxnard Police Department Commander Scott Aaron.

"Commander Aaron joined the Oxnard Police Department on November 20, 2004, and served until his passing. 

Before joining the Oxnard Police Department, Scott enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving with a Security Force Company in Yorktown, Virginia. Afterwards, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines in Twentynine Palms, California.  His law enforcement career began in 1996 with the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office in Virginia, before returning to California in 2002.

Commander Aaron served in many and varied assignments, including as a Patrol Officer and Sergeant, Field Training Officer, Range Master, Traffic Officer, Beat Coordinator, Family Protection Investigator and Supervisor, Major Crimes Sergeant, Professional Standards Sergeant, and Patrol Watch Commander. He was promoted to the rank of Commander in May of 2025."
