UPDATE: At 7:05AM PST, DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Compton, California, to arrest a violent criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, William Eduardo Moran Carballo, who is involved in a human smuggling operation and has two prior arrests for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. An immigration judge issued him a final order of removal in 2019.

In a dangerous attempt to evade arrest, this criminal illegal alien weaponized his vehicle and rammed law enforcement. Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired defensive shots. The criminal illegal alien was not hit and attempted to flee on foot. He was successfully apprehended by law enforcement. The illegal alien was not injured, but a CBP officer was injured.

NEW: 01/21/2026 12:40 am Officers from the LAPD South West Division were involved in a crash with a civilian at the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Western Avenue. After the collision, officers reported their involvement and requested an LAPD ambulance for an officer who sustained injuries.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived and transported the officer to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with what appeared to be minor injuries. The female driver of the Mazda involved in the crash did not appear to have sustained any injuries.

The LAPD South Traffic Division is handling the investigation.

BREAKING: Per colleague Chad Pergram, the House Oversight Committee has just voted to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for ignoring a committee subpoena to give a deposition re: the Epstein investigation. A liberal judge in Minnesota tried to handcuff ICE agents who are enforcing the Nation’s immigration laws and responding to obstructive and violent interference from agitators.

The 8th Circuit just granted an administrative stay HALTING these restrictions, which were designed to undermine federal law enforcement.
