Turns out that the transportation backlog in our ports was caused by unelected bureaucrats enacting/enforcing climate change BS on interstate trucking that has effectively throttled the ports ability to function as needed. This is ALL ABOUT new California emission standards.

Virtually all private owner operator trucks and half of the fleet trucks that are used for moving containers across the nation were shut out."

The Democrat Civil War Just Blew up — Again | Red State
Let’s just say the Democrat Civil War over Joe Biden’s Build Back Better bill isn’t going well.
Bernie Sanders decided to birddog Manchin in his home state of West Virginia with an op-ed in the West Virginia Gazette-Mail. This was Machin’s epic response:
“This isn’t the first time an out-of-stater has tried to tell West Virginians what is best for them despite having no relationship to our state,” Manchin said. “Millions of jobs are open, supply chains are strained and unavoidable inflation taxes are draining workers’ hard-earned wages as the price of gasoline and groceries continues to climb. Senator Sanders’ answer is to throw more money on an already over-heated economy while 52 other senators have grave concerns about this approach. To be clear, again, Congress should proceed with caution on any additional spending and I will not vote for a reckless expansion of government programs. No op-ed from a self-declared Independent socialist is going to change that.”
Oh, my, that’s something, especially that ending, pointedly calling him a socialist, and pointing out that Sanders isn’t even a Democrat. But also reminding him that it’s the 52 senators objecting who are the majority, not Sanders and his progressives.

He declared that he would win four more years in the White House “And then after that,” he said, “we’ll negotiate, right? Because we’re probably—based on the way we were treated—we are probably entitled to another four after that.”
If you believe in Devolution, this certainly is an Interesting statement from the guy who predicted the election would be stolen and has predicted almost every move Biden has made while “president”.

Russia suspending mission to NATO in response to staff expulsions
Russia will suspend its permanent mission to NATO in response to the alliance's expulsion of eight Russians, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Monday.
Moscow's suspension of its mission could come into effect as early as November 1, Lavrov said.
Russia is also suspending the activities of the NATO military liaison mission in Moscow, Lavrov said, with staff accreditation to be withdrawn on November 1.
