#IngressObsidian Madrid has begun: The Resistance are in the lead. M1 Scores: ENL: 222 to RES: 489.
A Resistance field loomed over Cluster 1, boosting an initial strong performance across the board. While the Enlightened controlled slightly more Cluster Portals, the Resistance held a majority of the Volatiles and used Portal Links to their advantage as well. Following a difficult defeat in Hamamatsu, the pressure is on the Resistance to even their Faction’s standing in the #Obsidian series. At Measurement 1 they lead by 267. Three Measurements remain, and this Anomaly is far from over.

Undeterred the Resistance agents battled down to the very last minute taking advantage of every opportunity. Every point and every agent mattered. By the end of the second round the Resistance had taken the lead. Heading into the final Orlando round of events, neither faction was assured a victory. Ultimately, the Enlightened turned the tide back in their favor with a strong performance in Orlando and secured the Obsidian anomaly with a final score of 27,625 for the Enlightened to 21,741 for the Resistance.
