Pulicha Keerai, aka gongura leaves or rosella leaves chutney. For those who love sour notes, this is it. My fav.

To make (ingredients are estimates).
Pluck the leaves from the stems and simmer in water to soften. Throw away the first water. Otherwise, I’m afraid chutney will be over sour.
Pour a little more water, simmer and mashed the leaves.
Set aside.
In a pan/wok, heat 2 tbsp oil.
Sauté chopped shallots.
Add dried chillies, mustard seeds and coriander leaves.
Tip in the mashed leaves.
Add salt.
Stir and dish out.
For a non vegetarian version, fry dried shrimps or anchovies alongside shallots.

#coffeeshop ( 998 Restoran, Bukit Rimau, Shah Alam - justva distance away from Aeon Big) food today. Why not, street food style in coffee shops can be glitz and glam favourable as well, in a #NoFrill surrounding. Somehow, for whatever reasons it may have, not many stalls were open.

What did we call for -
#indianfood (stall name not up yet, friendly and cheerful person)
Food items -
green pea curry, turmeric cabbage and #fishsambal (RM13.00)
Taste - there’s room for improvement. Nothing punchy for waking up our palates.
#currychercheongfun (Jojo Robert’s Kitchen, humble and smiling service)
Taste - not bad. Flavourful curry and fresh Chee Cheong Fun items (RM12.90)
To wash, Chinese tea (0.80)
Overall, can-lah!

Inclusive of the #crabsoup packed back home.
Crab soup?
