Hey world! We lived through the WORST STORM IN DECADES and it is basically very deep lovely snow. I can't open the screen door very far and Loki is having none of it, as the snow is higher than his head, but that is it. I guess we don't have to FEAR THE WORLD EVERY MINUTE!! Britain is now giving the green light to 15 minute cities.
Oxford city will be divided into six zones.
Drivers must apply for a permit that grants a ration of 100 free travel days between the zones.
Those exceeding their driving limit will be fined.

It comes from the Soviet Union where they called it a "micro district".
The idea is to contain people into small zones, with those areas containing all essential services.
Private car use is discouraged and people are expected to walk or take the bus instead.

Hey world - are those of you who are not on the Left, running into the same judgemental coldness from some liberal friends and loved ones, due to the death of Alex Pretti at the hands of ICE, that we just recently got past, due to vaccines? I don’t know what ‘right action’ was supposed to be at that event. Bringing a loaded weapon to a violent protest is a dangerous thing to do. But I can’t stand the way the Left is creating a hagiography for Pretti, and freezing up emotionally again in judgement in relation to the rest of us. I try to explain that they were right not to want mayhem on Jan 6 2020 and that this too is an insurrection, and that if they don’t like the laws leading ICE to be in MN, they can change them. But I am getting nowhere. We are being divided AGAIN.
