Fire damage is carried out at ranges of several tens of kilometers. Firing can be carried out both from closed firing positions and direct fire without prior preparation. In the footage, the crew of the Msta-SM2 self-propelled howitzer of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the West group of forces destroyed fortified areas, firing positions and manpower of the enemy while performing fire missions.

During combat missions, crews of 152-mm Msta-S self-propelled howitzers use high-explosive, high-explosive fragmentation, and high-precision ammunition, which allows them to inflict maximum damage to fortifications, buried concrete fortifications, armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
