Do not lean on your own understanding. Put your faith and trust in God.

Prophecy is in part. God will not give every piece of the puzzle. So you need to trust God and exactly what God wants done and when He wants it done.

SERFS, SUPERS OR SUPER-DUPERS?--Which Will You Be? DFO 1036 20/1/81

1. BOTH BURKE IN "BURKE'S CONNECTIONS" & OTHER COMMENTATORS have made documentaries in which they point out how the coming generation is going to be divided into virtually just two classes, no longer the upper rich class & the middle smart know-it-all class of technicians & the dumb lower class of manual labourers, the uneducated, but virtually just two classes--the people who know it all & understand all the high technology & electronics, etc., & the people who don't.
2. The scientists & engineers will virtually be a super race who know & understand all this machinery & can invent it & create it & run it & fix it. Then there will be the dumb serfs who know little or nothing & have no education in it & are just going to be manual labourers who will almost be like slaves & robots.
3. This sounds a lot like the Antichrist kingdom--a race of supermen who understand the Image of the Beast, & then the serfs & slaves who don't & over whom they rule & who do all the manual menial labour. Burke is as good as saying that you're now the author of your own fate & therefore you will be choosing what's going to happen to you, whether you're going to be one of the super race or one of the serfs, depending on the education you get.
4. I BELIEVE THE ANTICHRIST'S RISE TO POWER IS SO SOON & COMING SO FAST, & with the horrible war that's going to destroy a third of the World, I would say it's hardly worthwhile to take the lengthy, difficult, very arduous & trying kind of education & training required by engineering, mechanics, electronics, medicine or whatever.
5. The Russians will probably use this high technology to restore the World & revive it to some extent, because the old will have been almost swept away. So it's needed now & it will probably be needed during the first part of the Antichrist reign. And the people who have that education & have those skills & that knowledge will be the super race who are going to be running the World!--They're already running it now & they'll be running it more & more as time goes on.
6. But the balloon is going to burst with the Antichrist declaring himself God & requiring religious worship of himself & suppression of everybody who doesn't--in fact, even kills them. So it's going to be very difficult to survive as a Christian under those circumstances during the last three-&-a-half years of the Great Tribulation, when your technocracy & technology & all of your engineering skill & education isn't going to do you any good unless you accept the Mark of the Beast & worship him!
7. The only Christians who are going to survive are those who already know how to live by faith in a survival situation & be mobile & continue to obey the Lord, because it will be impossible to survive except by miracles of God & living by faith, totally independent from the System entirely, without its Mark & without its approval & without its benefits & unable to buy or sell.
8. So you might as well get ready right now, & the best training you could possibly have for surviving that kind of situation is to live by faith right now, trusting God for your needs, your food, your clothing, your housing, your transportation & the opportunities of witnessing & litnessing & spreading the Gospel & winning friends & influencing people & FFing & all the rest.
9. I WOULDN'T AT ALL ADVISE ANY OF OUR CHILDREN TO LOOK FORWARD TO TRYING TO GET ANY KIND OF EDUCATION ABOVE the high school level … as long as they can read & write & figure--the 3 R's, Reading, 'Riting & 'Rithmetic--& the 3 G's, General Biology, General Social Studies, General Science, etc. (See No.371 .)

10. SO I CONSIDER THAT THE BEST EDUCATION OUR CHILDREN CAN POSSIBLY GET RIGHT NOW IS IN THE WORD, in the Bible & the MO Letters & what God has said to us & told us & prepared us for. Learn now to live by faith, learn now to survive under difficult conditions, & learn now to live in a survival situation. Learn now how to live & travel & work for the Lord by faith & know His Word & preach the Gospel by whatever means are available under whatever circumstances exist, whether it be open, free, in public, or more & more oppressed & suppressed & restricted & even forbidden to where you cannot openly witness or litness anymore, but have to do it secretly & underground.
11. So we don't have to worry about the coming new super-serf society or its conflicts--in fact, it's already here--but we'll just keep on serving the Lord & preaching Jesus & winning souls & distributing the Word as long as we can, & the Lord will take care of us as long as He wants to until He delivers us in some way.--By miracles, death or Rapture! So PTL, I'm not worried about our children's education!--They're getting the best education they could possibly get!--In the Word & the nurture & admonition of the Lord & growing in faith & living by faith full-time & witnessing & litnessing & learning to be mobile & to live selah & to survive.
12. SO ALTHOUGH YOU MAY NOT BE A SUPER TECHNOCRAT NOR A SERF, YOU'RE GOING TO BE A SUPER-DUPER RACE who are going to survive miraculously & be protected supernaturally. Many will survive to the very End, in spite of persecution & in spite of suppression. God will care for you & promote you & your message right to the End, when He is going to promote us all to be with Jesus! PTL!
13. You will be the super-duper race of all, who will have better survival potential than all the rest put together & will do better than all the others, because you will live through things that even some of them will not live through, that even the System's Supers & Serfs will not survive!
14. --Plagues & scourges & monsters & catastrophes which God sends to judge & punish your wicked persecutors & protect you!--Read Revelation Chapters 7 through 21 ! The horrors of the Tribulation are for the wicked!--To protect you to the End! So TTL, we're on the right track, don't leave it! Just keep on keepin' on for Jesus!--Better to be a saved Serf than a damned Super!--PTL! We can't lose!

HUMILITY AND HOLINESS.
"Which say, Stand by thyself; for I am holier than thou."—Isaiah Ixv. 5.
We speak of the Holiness movement in our times, and praise God for it. We hear a great deal of seekers after holiness and professors of holiness, of holiness teaching and holiness meetings. The blessed truths of holiness in Christ, and holiness by faith, are being emphasized as never before. The great test of whether the holiness we profess to seek or to attain, is truth and life, will be whether it be manifest in the increasing humility it produces. In the creature, humility is the one thing needed to allow God's holiness to dwell in him and shine through him. In Jesus, the Holy One of God who makes us holy, a divine humility was the secret of His life and His death and His exaltation; the one infallible test of our holiness will be the humility before God and men which marks us. Humility is the bloom and the beauty of holiness.
The chief mark of counterfeit holiness js its lack of humility. Every seeker after holiness needs to be on his guard, lest unconsciously what was begun in the spirit be perfected in the flesh, and pride creep in where its presence is least expected. Two men went up into the temple to pray: the one a Pharisee, the other a publican. There is no place or position so sacred but the Pharisee can enter there. Pride can lift its head in the very temple of God, and make His worship the scene of its self-exaltation. Since the time Christ so exposed his pride, the Pharisee has put on the garb of the publican, and the confessor of deep sinfulness equally with the professor of the highest holiness, must be on the watch. Just when we are most anxious to have our heart the temple of God, we shall find the two men coming up to pray. And the publican will find that his danger is not from the Pharisee beside him, who despises him, but the Pharisee within who commends and exalts. In God's temple, when we think we are in the holiest of all, in the presence of His holiness, let us beware of pride. "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them."
"God, I thank Thee, I am not as the rest of men, or even as this publican." It is in that which is just cause for thanksgiving, it is in the very thanksgiving which we render to God, it may be in the very confession that God has done it all, that self finds its cause of complacency. Yes, even when in the temple the language of penitence and trust in God's mercy alone is heard, the Pharisee may take up the note of praise, and in thanking God be congratulating himself. Pride can clothe itself in the garments of praise or of penitence. Even though the words, " I am not as the rest of men," are rejected and condemned, their spirit may too often be found in our feelings and language towards our fellow-worshippers and fellow-men. Would you know if this really is so, just listen to the way in which Churches and Christians often speak of one another. How little of the meekness and gentleness of Jesus is to be seen. It is so little remembered that deep humility must be the keynote of what the servants of Jesus say of themselves or each other. Is there not many a Church or assembly of the saints, many a mission or convention, many a society or committee, evenscca many a mission away in heathendom, where the harmony has been disturbed and the work of God hindered, because men who are counted saints have proved in touchiness and haste and impatience, in self-defense and self-assertion, in sharp judgments and unkind words, that they did not each reckon others better than themselves, and that their holiness has but little in it of the meekness of the saints?'
