John Exum cannot attend as he has developed bronchitis and is being tested for Covid. Drew Trammell will also not be able to attend due to a conflict with his daughter’s prom. Dad Duty!!!

I will be there despite my hyperacusis!!! My legs are also still weak so forgive me if I have to remain seated during the event!!!

I do look so forward to seeing you and knowing that you will enjoy spending time and fellowship with your fellow REAL Patriots.

I thought about my answer before responding, “I don’t know of any at this time.”

For some reason, I thought about Richard Jewell today and the 16+ years of my life I spent representing him, including 5 years after his untimely death in 2007. For over half of my legal career as a trial lawyer, Richard was my client.

I was successful in some of the cases I filed for him and unsuccessful in others.

Over the years, from a time standpoint, I lost a lot of “money”representing Richard since to most lawyers, “time is money.”

I never cared about the money.

I cared about Richard Jewell, the man.

He was innocent and yet, he was falsely accused.

I know for a fact that if Richard was in earth the last 5 years, he would have fought for me as hard as I fought for him.

I loved Richard.

I still do.

If you truly love someone, you never stop loving them.

Richard Jewell was a quiet, kind, and loving man who was loyal to his few friends.

I know Richard was always grateful for my unwavering loyalty to him.

I miss Richard and I pray that one day, I will be with him again in heaven.
