I met Pete Rose years ago at his bar and restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida.
He was interviewing on his radio show a former major league player who was the manager of my team at the Atlanta Braves age 40+ “Baseball Heaven” spring training camp for older men who never made it to the pros but still loved the game and wanted to keep playing.
Pete would not autograph any item unless you bought it from his store at the bar and restaurant.
I bought a Reds cap at his store and he signed it. I paid the price.
It was a low quality cap.
I pray Pete knew Jesus Christ before he left this world today.

I vividly remember my March 11, 2020 meeting in the Oval Office with President Trump.
I did not seek a meeting with him. He asked me to meet with him.
Why???
I remember when he said to me, “I have a couple of things I want you to do for me, will you do them???”
I responded, “Mr. President, I believe you are doing God’s will for this country and I love America. I will do whatever you want me to do.”
He said, “I will be in touch.”
President Trump has never told me what he wanted me to do for him or America.
I seek to be guided every day by the Holy Spirit.
And President Trump and I are almost always on the same page.
God is REAL.
Jesus Christ is God.
