My puppies Samantha (“Samy”) and Sundance (“Suny”) who departed this world in 2019 and 2020.

I believe they are in heaven waiting faithfully for me.

I have always loved my puppies, past and present.

After Chandler learned to ride, I bought her a pony.

She named her pony Jaggy because I had a silver Jaguar at the time.

I told Channy that I had to spend my last buck at the time to buy Jaggy.

She gave Jaggy the show name “Daddy’s Last Buck.” When I found out the show name she gave Jaggy, I cried.

We painted Jaggy with black spots for a horse show to look like a Dalmatian with Fireman Channy riding her.

It turned out not to be my last buck as I later purchased a 17’3 hand thoroughbred mare so that I could ride with Chandler and hang out at the barn with her and our dear, now deceased, friend, Lee Ullman who taught us both how to ride.

I named my horse Deirdre and have her the show name “She Humbles Me.”

Deirdre lived up to her name!!! I fell off her 28 times over the next 10 years!!! Talk about humbling!!! A grown man lawyer biting the dust 28 times!!!

I praise God every day for giving me memories.
