A few final thoughts for the day and night:
A final Merry Christmas for 2024 to ALL of you!!!
As I spend time researching and thinking, including drawing on my memories, I realize that God put many very “interesting” people in my life over the years.
People who I did not seek out, but people who for their own reasons, sought me out.
There is a reason for EVERY thing God does or allows to be done. God is sovereign. He is in control of ALL things.
God gave me a curious mind so I sometimes think, “Why me, LORD??? What do you want me to do???” I ask God those questions in prayers.
I know He will give me ALL the answers to my questions when I am in Heaven with Him.
Until that glorious day, I pray for knowledge, discernment, and wisdom each day. God gives me enough of all 3 each day as I live one day at a time in earth.
Enough is enough.
Always has been.
Always will be.
So God tells me enough.
I understand so much more about my life in earth now than when I was living it out over the years.
We serve a magnificent and awesome God.
Jesus Christ is God.
I hope your day and holiday was a good one and that you will now rest well.
We will press on tomorrow.

So I just listened to this sermon, I always learn so much from David Wilkerson's ministry, even though I had never heard of him while he was still alive in earth. It's a blessing that God continues to use him to teach Truth.
A couple of my takeaways from this message: First, we need to pray FOR our enemies, and not AT them. There is a very important difference, and I am learning to do so. It's not easy, the devil tries his best to foster bitterness in us. But attacking a lost soul with prayers of revenge, is not bringing glory to Jesus's name. We should pray FOR their salvation, so they may become saved and justified, and therefore no longer remain an enemy.
And second, "Recompense to no man evil for evil."(Romans 12:17) As hard as it is to do, we cannot fight evil with evil. This point was driven home to me last night, as I am here in NC with my wife's family for Christmas, and had to endure Beyonce's halftime performance of the footbaal game.
It was so uncomfortable and disturbing to watch. From Beyonce's blaspheming entrance on a white horse, to the many satanic hand signs and winking, it was clear the devil was trying to enrage me. But despite it's blatantly satanic imagery, and baphomet worship, I found myself feeling sorrowful for this person(Beyonce), and those that put on this twisted production. The Holy Spirit made me see that these people, who outwardly appear on top of (this) world, smiling and mocking, would soon be spending a life of eternal torment and pain in fiery hell, if they don't repent. And as I've matured in Christ, I don't wish that evil upon anyone. And my attention becomes changed to the gratitude of Him choosing me first, and saving me from that horrific destination. And that proper focus is pleasing to God.
