God is sovereign over ALL of those who believe in Jesus Christ and ALL of those who do not believe in Jesus Christ.
For the non-believers, they do not accept the TRUTH of the Holy Bible.
Sometimes it is not enough to tell somebody, you have to show them.
When they depart this world, the non-believers will see God in the twinkle of an eye and bow to Him and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Too late for them.
They will send eternity in hell and eventually in the lake of fire because they did not believe in Him in earth by faith.
Their eternity will be an eternity spent in regret with weeping and gnashing of teeth. And worse.

For two summers (1970 and 1971) after my mother died and my father went to jail, I stayed at the YMCA in Macon before college started back up in the fall.
I stayed with a family in Macon in the summer of 1969.
It was great at the YMCA.
Clean sheets and fresh towels. I was not skilled at doing my own laundry!!!
It was like staying in a relatively inexpensive hotel room.
I left my room early each morning. I returned to my room late each night.
I never went to the pool or other “athletic” facilities that were available.
I had heard too many stories.
So I minimized my time at the YMCA to the essentials.
For the summers thereafter while I was still in college, I rented an apartment for the summers!!!
