The problem with a two-term limit on the President of the United States is that the President is a lame duck on day one of his second term.
He is unable to accomplish much on the domestic front as Congress is focused on who will take his place in 4 years. So there are many competing agendas at work domestically.
A term limited President is forced to make his legacy in foreign policy in his second term as he has no real interference from Congress on matters of foreign policy.

History teaches us that the most important time period in a President’s first term is The First Hundred Days in office. This is referred to as The Honeymoon Period as Congress historically works with the new President during this time period in passing legislation to implement his agenda set forth in his campaign.

FDR knew exactly what he was doing. I believe he even knew about Pearl Harbor before it happened. We the people have been lied to way too much of our history.
When I was 14, in my 9th grade civics class, I was allowed to pick my own term paper subject!!! For some reason, I picked the question of whether FDR knew in advance that the nation was going to the victim of a “surprise” attack by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor?
After researching the issue and connecting dots, the conclusion I drew in my term paper was, “YES, HE KNEW.”
I wish I had saved that term paper!!!
I was also 14 when I gave a Youth Day sermon at Shurlington Baptist Church in Macon, GA on scripture of my choice. I preached on “The Whole Armour Of God.” I still have the words on which that sermon was based. They are found in the Holy Bible in Ephesians 6.
We do not battle flesh and blood.
I have never forgotten that term paper or that sermon.
