We're seeking a Senior Java developer to join a distributed multinational team of software professionals developing and maintaining highly scalable, enterprise class applications.
Key Responsibilities
▫️Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: planning, developing, building and delivering applications
▫️Retiring older projects and code
▫️Debugging programs
▫️Collaborating with other team members via code reviews and other means
Experience, Skills, and Competencies
▫️6 years of work experience in developing Java applications
▫️Expertise with the Java language and the Enterprise Java (J2EE) ecosystem
▫️Experience with both relational and document-oriented databases
▫️Experience with hosted, cloud-based hybrid cloud environments
▫️An understanding of virtual machines, container technologies and container management applications (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes)
▫️Fluency with SQL, and a familiarity with other query languages and techniques.
▫️Experience developing RESTful APIs
▫️Experience developing applications founded upon inversion of control frameworks, particularly the Spring Framework and its companion projects
▫️Facility developing web-based applications, and a knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks
▫️Experience developing applications for and maintaining the infrastructure to support fault-tolerant, asynchronous message-oriented data pipelines
▫️Good English language skills
