🌏A small engineering-focused company is looking for a Senior Python Engineer who is interested in blockchain, Ethereum and/or Bitcoin to join our globally distributed team (around UTC+1).
💶Salary 60 000-62 000 EUR (or higher for experienced applicants) per annum, gross
📍Fully remote team with great dynamics
Role and responsibilities: You’ll work on the core of our roll-up solution. Specifically, we're looking for someone to help us with:
1. Developing new features
2. Integrating with the Ethereum blockchain
3. Work on storing proofs and commitments
4. Work on the p2p layer of the app
5. Creating automated tests (API and unit tests)
6. Contributing to our design and architecture discussions
7. Reviewing code from the rest of the team
Requirements and skills
Our ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with Python experience. It's great if you have blockchain experience already, but if do not we are happy to teach you.
Specifically, we are looking for:
8. 3+ years of experience in developing with Python
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
10. Deep understanding of profiling, including experience with using a performance profiler
11. Excellent understanding of memory management and memory allocation
12. Extensive experience with containerization (we use Docker)
13. Obsessive about writing modular code, creating reusable components and libraries
14. Ability to write optimized code: both in terms of speed and scalability
15. Experience with CI/CD
16. Experience with version control (git)
Bonus skills:
17. Experience working with Embedded DB
18. Experience building DApps on Ethereum or other blockchains (web3.js or other libraries and
