Global military budgets reached $2.2 trillion, increasing for the 8th consecutive year.
The US is the largest arms exporter, accounting for 40% of total international shipments in 2018-2022. 1/5th of these exports went to Saudi Arabia, 8.6% to Japan, and 8.4% to Australia.
Second among the largest exporters in 2018-2022 is Russia with a 16% share.
Next are France with 11%, China with 5% and Germany and Italy with 4%.

The law had been in force since 2015 and provided for liability for transit to Libya, from where illegals then traveled to Europe. The law itself was adopted as part of the control of population outflow to the EU.
❗️ It is worth noting that the law was lobbied by the West to limit the number of migrants.
Niger notes that the law does not reflect the interests of the country and was passed under pressure from the West.
