🔸️ Prayer is needed to overcome the trials! 🔸️
We must know the difference between temptation and sin. If we are happened to see something 'suddenly' and get temptation, it is not sin! But, if we keep on looking at something that has tempted us or keep on thinking about them.... Ah, now we have sinned! We can never avoid from being tempted. But we can certainly turn our eyes or our mind away from what has tested us!! The status whether we are sanctified or immersed in sin, can be determined only by analysing the way how we are adhering our will.
God never find us as guilty because we are tempted. But God definitely wants us to stand against temptation! One Godly man said, "I can never stop the birds from flying over my head, but I can certainly prevent them from sitting on my head and nesting." Yes, we can never stop the test that approach us. But, we can definitely prevent that test from occupying within our mind!
Jesus looked at Peter, James, and John in the Garden of Gethsemane and said, "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation" (Matt. 26:41). Jesus knew that His disciples were about to face the temptation that was approaching. So Jesus wanted to prepare them to meet that trial. But instead of praying, they fell asleep. As a result, when the trial came, Peter cut off a soldier's ear. Peter fell into sin because he did not stay awake and pray! But Jesus, who was awake and praying, behaved very purely and lovingly!! God is always truthful to warn us in advance. The Holy Spirit says into our hearts, "Sit down now and spend your time in prayer!" We can all hear His Voice in such a soft tone!
Prayer:
Loving Father! We learn that the prayer life paves the way to escape even in temptations; give us the grace to have that prayer life to become an unceasing part of our lives! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"

🔸️ தேவனிடத்தில் சேர்வதே பாவத்தை ஜெயித்திடும் இரகசியம்! 🔸️
"எங்களைத் (திராணிக்கு மேலான) சோதனைக்குட்படப் பண்ணாமல்...." என்ற விண்ணப்பத்தை தொடர்ந்து, "தீமையிலிருந்து எங்களை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்ற விண்ணப்பம் வருவதை பார்த்தீர்களா! (மத்.6:13). "இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்ற வார்த்தைக்கு விரிவாக்கம் யாதெனில், "எங்களை உம்மண்டை இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்பதுதான்! எனவே இந்த ஜெபம், "எங்களை தீமையிலிருந்து விடுவித்து, உம்மண்டை இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்பதாகவே உள்ளது.
தேவனும், தீமையும் வேறு வேறு திசையிலிருந்து நம்மை இழுக்கும் வலிமையான சக்திகளாகும். ஆகவேதான், "தகப்பனே, தீமையை நோக்கி இழுக்கும் சக்தியை என் மாம்சத்தில் நான் அதிகமாய் உணர்கிறேன். ஆனால் நீரோ என்னை அந்தப் பாதைக்குள் போகவொட்டாதிரும்! அத்தீமைக்கு என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்க நானும் விரும்பவில்லை. ஆண்டவரே, என்னை நீர் தயவாய் உம் பாதைக்குள் இழுத்துக்கொள்ளும்" என்றே ஜெபிக்கிறோம்.
பாவத்தின்மீது நாம் ஜெயம் பெற்ற வாழ்க்கை வாழ வேண்டுமென்றால், "நான் தேவனண்டையில் இழுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட வேண்டும்" என்ற தீராத வாஞ்சையும் தாகமும் மிக மிக முக்கியமானதாகும்!
இன்று அநேகக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களிடத்தில், "பாவம் உங்களை மேற்கொள்ள மாட்டாது" (ரோமர் 6:14) என்ற பொன்னான வாக்குத்தத்தம் அவர்கள் ஜீவியத்தில் நிறைவேறாததற்கு காரணம், 'பாவத்தின் பிடியிலிருந்து விடுதலையாக வேண்டும்' என்ற தீராத வாஞ்சையும் தாகமும் அவர்களிடம் இல்லாததால்தான்! இவர்கள் தேவனிடம் சென்று, "ஓ, என் தேவனே! என்ன விலைக்கிரயம் ஆனாலும், அதைச் செலுத்த நான் ஆயத்தம்.... நீரோ என்னை பாவத்தின் பிடியிலிருந்து விடுதலை செய்யும்!" என ஒரு தடவைகூட கதறி ஜெபித்திருக்கவே மாட்டார்கள். ஏனெனில், பாவத்திலிருந்து விடுதலை பெற வேண்டும் என்ற 'தீராத தாகம்' இவர்களுடைய ஜீவியத்தில் இல்லை. . . . அவ்வளவுதான்!
இவர்களோ, மோசமான நிலைக்கு வியாதிப்பட்டு விட்டால் "அதனிமித்தம்" தேவனிடம் கூக்குரலிட்டு கதறி ஜெபிப்பார்கள். ஆனால், அந்தோ...! இவர்கள் நோயுற்றிருப்பதைவிட, பாவம் செய்வதே மகா கொடியது என்பதை உணருவதேயில்லை!! எனவேதான், இவர்கள் தோல்வியின் படுகுழிக்குள் மூழ்கி இருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதில் எவ்வித ஆச்சரியமுமில்லை!!
"உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் என்னைத் தேடுவீர்களானால், என்னைத் தேடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிப்பீர்கள்" (எரேமியா 29:13) என்றே தேவன் கூறுகிறார்.
ஜெபம்:
எங்கள் பரம பிதாவே! பாவத்திற்கு எதிர்முனையில் நிற்கும் உம்மிடம் சேர்வதே ஜெயத்தின் இரகசியம் என அறிந்தோம்! உம்மிடம் கூக்குரலிட்டு தீவிரமாய் உம்மைச் சேர்ந்திட கிருபை தாரும்! கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில், ஆமென்.

🔸️ To be in union with God is the secret to overcome sin! 🔸️
In continuation of the prayer "don't let us (beyond what we can bear) yield to temptation", do you observe this prayer petition... "Rescue us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). The exposition for the word "rescue us" is "drag us towards You." So this prayer is "Deliver us from evil, drag us and to keep closer to You".
God and evil are powerful forces that pull us from different directions. That is why we pray, "Father, I feel much in my flesh the power to draw me towards evil. But You please don't let me go down that path! I too don't want to surrender myself to that evil. Lord, be gracious to drag me into your path."
If we want to live a life of victory over sin, the unquenchable longing and thirst for "I must be drawn closer to God" is very, very important!
For many Christians today, the golden promise that "sin shall no longer be your master" (Romans 6:14) is not fulfilled in their lives, because they do not have the unquenchable desire and thirst to 'set free from the grip of sin'! They would not have prayed even once...."Oh, my God! I am ready to pay at any cost.... You please free me from the grip of sin!" Because there is no 'unquenchable thirst' in their lives for deliverance from sin... That's it!
They are the ones who, when they suffer due to dangerous illness, cry out to God "because of that". But, alas ...! They do not realize that it is worse to sin than to be sick!! That's why there's no wonder, that they are drowning in the abyss of failure!!
God says, "If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me" (Jeremiah 29:13).
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father! We know that the secret of victory is to be with You, who stand against sin! Give us the grace to cry out at You and to get closer to You vigourously! In the name of Lord Jesus, Amen.

🔸️ "சகலமும்" நன்மையாய் நடந்திட தேவனிடம் விசுவாசம் வேண்டும்!" 🔸️
யோசேப்பின் வாழ்க்கையை சற்று தியானியுங்கள். அவன் தனக்கு கிடைத்த வெளிச்சத்தின்படி தீமையிலிருந்து விலகி, தேவ பக்தியுள்ள வாழ்க்கை வாழ வாஞ்சித்து முயற்சித்தான். அவன் தேவனை பிரியப்படுத்தவே சதா விரும்பினான். தேவனும் அவனை மனநிறைவோடு ஆசீர்வதித்தார்! "ஆனால்" அவன் எவ்விதம் ஜனங்களால் நடத்தப்பட்டான் என்பதை பார்த்தீர்களா?
அவனுடைய பத்து சகோதரர்களும் சேர்ந்து அவன்மீது பொறாமை கொண்டு, அவனை எகிப்தின் கையில் விற்றுப்போட்டார்கள். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியைக் காண்பது மகா கொடியதாய் இருக்கிறதல்லவா? "ஆனால்" யோசேப்பை எகிப்தின் இரண்டாவது அதிபதியாக தேவன் நியமிப்பதற்கு இவைகள் யாவும் தேவனுடைய திட்டமாய் இருந்ததென இறுதியில் காண்கிறோமே!! அவனுடைய சகோதரர்கள் அவனுக்குச் செய்த தீமைகள் முடிவில் நன்மையாகவே விளங்கியது! பின்பு, யோசேப்பு எகிப்தை அடைந்தவுடன் போத்திபாரின் வீட்டில் வேலைக்காரனாக விற்கப்பட்டான். அங்கேயோ, போத்திபாரின் மனைவி அவனைத் தூண்டி சோதித்தாள். தெய்வபயம் கொண்ட யோசேப்போ, அவளுடைய கபட ஆசைக்கு இணங்க மறுத்தான்! சோதிக்கப்பட்ட அந்த சூழலை விட்டே வெளியேறி ஓடினான்!! உடனே போத்திபாரின் மனைவி அவனைப் பொய்யாகக் குற்றம் சாட்டி அவனைச் சிறைச்சாலைக்குள் தள்ளினாள்.
இவ்வித நிகழ்ச்சி கொடியதாய் இருக்கிறதல்லவா? "ஆனால்" யோசேப்பை சிங்காசனத்தில் அமர்த்துவதற்கு சிறைச்சாலையின் வழியாகத்தான் தேவன் திட்டம் தீட்டியிருந்தார்! எப்படியெனில், அந்த சிறைச்சாலையில்தான் பார்வோனின் பான பாத்திரக்காரனை யோசேப்பு சந்தித்து, அதன் விளைவாய் இறுதியில் பார்வோனுக்கு அறிமுகமானான் என்பதை நாம் யாவரும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம் (ஆதி. 41:9-13). யோசேப்பிற்கு, பல்வேறு ஜனங்கள் இவ்வாறு தீங்கு விளைவிக்க முயற்சித்தார்கள். "ஆனால்" தேவன் தன் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள ஆளுகையைக் கொண்டு, யோசேப்பின் வாழ்க்கையைக் குறித்து தான் கொண்டிருந்த தீர்மானம் நிறைவேறுவதற்கு அத்தீமைகள் யாவையும் நன்மையாக முடியும்படி செய்தார்!! (ரோமர் 8:28).
இதைப்போலவே நமக்கும் நடந்தேறும்! "சகலமும்" தேவன் நம் வாழ்க்கையைக் குறித்து கொண்டிருக்கும் திட்டம் நிறைவேறும்படிக்கே நடந்தேறும்! முடிவில் நம்மை கிறிஸ்துவின் சாயலுக்கொப்பாய் நிச்சயமாய் மாற்றுவார்!! ஆனால். . . . இவைகளை நாம் விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும்! ஏனெனில், நம் விசுவாசத்தின் அளவின்படி மாத்திரமே நாம் தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும்!

"சகலமும்" தேவன் நம் வாழ்க்கையைக் குறித்து கொண்டிருக்கும் திட்டம் நிறைவேறும்படிக்கே நடந்தேறும்! முடிவில் நம்மை கிறிஸ்துவின் சாயலுக்கொப்பாய் நிச்சயமாய் மாற்றுவார்!! ஆனால். . . . இவைகளை நாம் விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும்! ஏனெனில், நம் விசுவாசத்தின் அளவின்படி மாத்திரமே நாம் தேவனுடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும்!

🔸️ For "everything" to work for the good, we must have Faith in God! 🔸️
Let's meditate the life of Joseph. He turned away from evil according to the light he had received and longed to live a Godly life. He always wanted to please God. God too blessed him with contentment! "But" do you see how he was treated by the people?
His ten brothers were jealous on him and sold him to the Egyptians. Isn't it terrible to watch this show? "But" we finally see that all these were God's plan to appoint Joseph as the second ruler of Egypt!! The evils that his brothers had done to him were ultimately turned into good! Later, when Joseph arrived Egypt, he was sold as a servant in Potiphar's house. There, Potiphar's wife tried to seduce him. God-fearing Joseph refused to comply with her hypocritical desire! He left that tested environment and ran away!! Potiphar's wife immediately accused him falsely and threw him into jail.
Isn't such a show deadly? "But" God planned to put Joseph on the throne through prison! As we all know, it was in that prison, Joseph met Pharaoh's cup-bearer and as a result he was finally introduced to Pharaoh (Gen.41:9-13). Various people, thus tried to cause evil to Joseph. "But" God, with His almighty governance, turned all the evils that occurred to Joseph into good, for the fulfillment of His decision regarding Joseph's life!! (Romans 8:28).
Just like that, it will happen to us too! "Everything" that happening in our life will be for the fulfillment of God's plan for us! He will surely change us in the image of Christ finally!! But....we must believe these! Because we can receive God's promises only to the extent of our faith!
Prayer:
Our heavenly Father! Give us the grace to see faithfully Your powerful arm which causes everything to work together for the good in the deadly circumstances of life! In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

"இன்று அவருடைய சத்தம்"

🔸️ பிறருடைய வீழ்ச்சியில் அவர்களை நம் ஜெபத்தினால் தூக்கிவிட வேண்டும்! 🔸️
நல்ல சமாரியன் உவமையில் ஆசாரியனின் (பாதிரியார்) மனோபாவத்திற்கும், சமாரியனின் மனோபாவத்திற்கும் உள்ள வேறுபாட்டைக் காண்கிறோம். வீழ்ச்சியுற்றுக் கிடந்த மனிதனை ஆசாரியன் கண்டு "கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம்! நான் இவனைப்போல் வீழ்ச்சி அடையவில்லை!" எனக்கூறி விலகிச் சென்றிருப்பான் (லூக்கா 10:30-37). இன்றும், ஒரு விசுவாசி வீழ்ந்தவுடன் இந்த ஆசாரியனைப்போலவே இன்னொரு விசுவாசி நடந்து கொள்கிறார்! அவர் மற்றவர்களிடம் சென்று, "பாருங்கள், அந்த சகோதரன் விழுந்து விட்டார்" எனக் கூறுகிறார்!! அங்கே இந்த விசுவாசி மறைமுகமாகக் கூறுவது யாதெனில், "பார்த்தீர்களா! நான் வீழ்ச்சியடையவில்லை!" என்ற ஜம்பம்தான்!!
ஆனால், இவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் மாறாக, நல்ல சமாரியன் என்ன செய்தான்? அவன், தான் பாவத்திலிருந்து ஜெயம் பெற்றதற்காக ஆண்டவரை ஸ்தோத்திரித்துவிட்டு விலகிச் செல்லவில்லை. அவன் உடனே கீழே இறங்கி, தூக்கி எடுத்து... அவன் சுகமாகும்படி சத்திரத்துக்கும் கொண்டுபோனான்! இந்த உவமானத்தை இயேசு கூறிவிட்டு, "நீயும் போய் அந்தப்படியே செய்!" (லூக்.10:37) என்றே ஆணையிட்டார்.
இன்று நாம் ஒரு சகோதரனிடத்தில் பெலவீனத்தைக் காணும்பொழுது அல்லது அவன் தன் ஜீவியத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியில் வீழ்ச்சியடைவதைக் காணும்பொழுது, இந்த நல்ல சமாரியனைப்போலவே மனோபாவம் கொண்டிருக்கிறோமா? அந்த சகோதரனை நம் ஜெபத்தினால் தூக்கி எடுத்து, அவன் குணம் அடையும்படி இயேசுவினிடத்தில் கொண்டு செல்கிறோமா? ஆம், நம் ஜீவியம் தேவனை மையமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறதா? இல்லையா? என்று அறிவதற்கு இவ்வித நிகழ்ச்சி நமக்குக் கிட்டும் நல்ல பரீட்சையாகும்.
"நான் மற்றவர்களை விட மிகுந்த ஆவிக்குரியவன்!" என காண்பிக்க இச்சிக்கும் சுயம்-மையம் கொண்ட விருப்பத்தினால்தான், பிறர் பாவத்தில் விழும்போது, அவர்களிடம் நாம் அக்கறை காட்டுவதில்லை. இது மகா கொடிய தீமையாகும்! நாமோ, வீழ்ச்சியுற்றவர்கள்மீது பரிதவித்து, அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிக்கிறவர்களாய் மாறிட வேண்டும்!
ஜெபம்:
எங்கள் அன்பின் பிதாவே! நாங்கள் ஆவிக்குரிய பெருமை அற்றவர்களாய், பிறருடைய வீழ்ச்சியில் மெய்யான கரிசனை கொண்டு அவர்களுக்காக ஜெபித்திடும் தாழ்மை உள்ளம் தாரும்! கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தில், ஆமென்.
